This review is a few months late in its writing, but no less enthusiastic for the timing. We had our wedding at Maggie Malicks Wine Caves in October 2016, and we made the best choice of our entire engagement by choosing Maggie Malicks and working with Mark and Maggie. The setting, the staff, the planning, the day of, everything went so smoothly. Their wine is delicious, the scenery is gorgeous, and the views provide something special you cant replicate anywhere else in VA. Maggie is a brilliant winemaker with varietals that will please just about any palate, and Mark is the consumate host. Every step of the way was handled with a blend of professionalism and comfort that never made it feel like it was just another transaction for the winery. We cannot recommend this winery enough- for a day trip, for your special occasion or private event. You will not be disappointed. Our guests were equally pleased and had such a great time as well. We are so lucky to have had the chance to have our special day in the first place, but even more lucky that we were able to do so at Maggie Malicks.

Really enjoyed our visit at Maggie Malicks! We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon as our second stop of the day. We did a tasting inside with Jose who was wonderful and enthusiastic about all of the wine varieties. While the tasting was definitely worth the cost, most of the wines felt like they were on the sweeter side, so be prepared. We ended up getting glasses of the Petit Verdot and the Merlot, both were nice! We ordered some warm bread with cheese and meats and sat outside and listened to music. Loved the warm and inviting vibe, will definitely be back when the weather cools down a little.

We really liked the petit verdot and the tennat. At first drive up, the winery doesnt look like what youd expect - its a gravel drive up to the owners house. Signs guide you to the man-made wine cave around back. Its a fantastic winery, described as a hobby gone wild and legitimate. The view from the seating out of the back of the cave is beautiful and the owners dogs will likely keep you company. We did the tasting, got a glass, and had a baguette with cheese plate.

We got there just at closing, but they took the time to give us a full tasting! All the wines were very good, and I am usually a cab drinker, but the white wines were delightful!! Very nice!

Maggie and Marc are lovely. They welcomed us with their down home friendliness and showed us a great variety of crisp, deep wines. We enjoy this vineyard trip v much.

This is a unique winery to see. I enjoy the reds, and very good finger foods selection. Dog-friendly.

Great wine, however after tasting manager was heard making discouraging remarks about our group.
