I visited this Winery on Labor Day 2016. It was not crowded at all I guess because of the holidays. The sights are amazing and the place is a really good one to relax. Wines are okay and to the best of my knowledge a brewery is opening in October 2016. It is pretty close to historical Battlefield sites. So it is easy to make a day out of it if you take a trip do this Winery. It is pet friendly and kid friendly. There are animals kids seem to enjoy chasing and playing with. Overall its a really good place where theres something for everyone.

I have been to many wineries in Virginia and this is definitely an up and coming winery to be competitive with the others. I loved every wine from the tasting, the owners were super chill and told us we could hang and drink some wine on the property even though theyd be closing soon. They have horses and many other animals along with beautiful views. Live music on Saturdays and not to mention discounts for teachers! I have to give them mad support because I was very impressed and totally loved the atmosphere.

Watched Journey tribute band Odyssey Road who play annually at Wilderness Run Vineyard. They were great. Theres also the 1781 Brewery on-site with a good selection of brews. Vineyard now only makes one wine but partners with other VA vineyards for more variety. Nice farm style outdoor scenery with view of pond and vineyard.

We thought that the staff would be so much more customer friendly. Being brand new we just wanted to sample a couple of the beers, but were charged $3 a piece. Three others in the downtown area did not charge us anything. Pretty disappointed. Same way in wine area. Just not a very happy staff. Maybe it was a bad day.

Had our fundraiser there last evening and our company did the catering. The staff was wonderful to work with and very helpful! The turn out was more than expected, due to the location and ambiance. Wine was terrific too!

What a beautiful place to spend the day. Amazing craft beers on the brewery side and what a great staff. Very welcoming environment for the whole family. Definitely my favorite winery and brewery in Virginia.

Great experience, beautiful property. Beer was ok, very fruity, tasted like "wine beer." Did not try the wine. Still thoroughly enjoyed the evening and music!! Would without a doubt go back again!!

Pretty cool spot. Some good wines to drink some of which arent produced on site that are rotated out. Its pretty quiet and relaxing, a good place to come if youre looking to enjoy a bottle of wine.

Awesome place. Great vibe, delicious wine and cheeses. Beautiful views and wonderful employees. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a nice day outside. Sweet cigar lounge as well.

Has great potential. It is a new winery so the last time I was there they did not have any of their own wines to offer yet. They did have several other local wines which they did serve.

Very child friendly! My toddlers had a great time chasing chickens, feeding horses and petting baby rabbits. Hint keep your kids away from roosters they are jerks. We had a great time.
