Pretty good place, a little worn but the employees and the owners are nice. The food is typical bowling center grill fare. The lanes are oiled, not urethane. No duck pin Gutter guards for the tykes Computer scoring There is a pro-shop and they drill a lot of balls in there. They run leagues and it appears to be a robust league at that. Getting out of the parking lot during peak hours, especially during peak traffic hours, is at times... difficult. Lots of traffic turning at the main street light to hit route 14 and for some reason most drivers feel the need to race through the area rather and abide by the 35 mph rule. Personally I think the speed limit should be 25 maybe a hefty speed bump in in order. Left hand turns are almost impossible during traffic, I would advise taking a right and going down a quarter mile or so and u-turning. For some odd reason the website has been rated as a risk by McAffee, so Im cannot/will not visit the website.

The food was absolutely terrible. Got a hamburger and it looked like mystery meat, we couldnt even finish it. The atmosphere was not family friendly at all. We were there on a Friday evening, and the music playing was explicit uncensored rap. We requested for a country song, or something a little more mild, as we had our 2 small children with us (6 and 4) and the attendant laughed in my husbands face, shook her head, stuck her tongue out and said "this is dancing music!" And proceeded to sing the lyrics as we stood at the counter. This is enough for us to make the extra drive to yorktown or Langley and not be patrons of this business. I was very disappointed in the response from the associate and the poor customer service.

If you would like a horrible experience then my suggestion is to visit. Village Lanes. I grew up in Gloucester and have visited this .establishment many times. Boy, has it gone downhill! The equipment constantly malfunctioned. Everytime we bowled we had to reset the pins and adjust our scores. Management was nowhere to be found. If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. I love to support local businesses but honestly, next time I will take my family and my money elsewhere. Everything is outdated and old. I even felt disgusted using their restroom. There were things written on the walls in feces. Please save your dignity and money and go somewhere else!

We got invited here for a birthday party. The kids had alot of fun and the food was decent. However the staff could be more friendly. Once the child had opened her gifts we were rushed out. My child turned in his bowling shoes and they were very rude about giving him his personal shoes back. And we went to tell a lady a bowling ball was stuck and we got the response "well whys it down there. The lanes are shut down." The ball was stuck when they shut the lanes off in the first place. At that point we were done!

I spent more time resetting the lane and correcting the score than actually bowling. Our lane never got fixed had to bowl with another group. Corner pin kept falling and ball got stuck multiple times. Order curly fries the best part was the ketchup infact that was the only good thing about them.

A great place to take ypur family for a fun outing. The prices are relatively cheap and the concession stand is great

Old worn lanes and equipment, however they are replacing it all on Aug 12th. Should be great.
