We went on a Sunday. Just on a whim. It ended up being about 15 or so people. They were so accommodating. With that many people it took awhile for everyone to get there and get situated. They just kept putting our name on the list and we ended up getting two lanes. We drank and made merry. The bartender and the guy behind the counter were friendly and awesome. Im from MD/DC so it was sooo much fun to actually be able to have a drink and bowl. I didnt think the prices were too bad either. They might be the only lanes in town but they dont act like it.

I went to the bowl o drome tonight and it was terrible! it was overpriced for one thing. Second, a ball got stuck in the gutter and we tried to get it out by throwing a second ball and the guy got mad at us and put us in time out for 10 minutes where he closed down our lane. My quarter got stuck in the gumball machine and the man unlocked the machine and took out a gumball with his bare hands and gave it to me!!!! It was soooo bad. I will never go to that place ever again.

Knock down pins while having some drinks with friends! I went with a group of six and we all had a good time. I had seen previous complaints in reviews about the management, but there wasnt anything problematic in my experience. In fact, the guy at the service desk was always super on top of taking care of lane malfunctions, running to the back without being prompted by anyone complaining. Maybe management has changed...

The owner is shady, among all the things others mention, he tried to charge me 50 cents to print out a single sheet of my scores... for ink. He also treats every customer like they are a problem, and bothersome, but I think the other reviews cover that pretty well. The guy at the proshop is nice though, he gets the single star! Theres some nice lanes in Cortland, totally worth a short drive to be treated like a human being.

im an avid bowler and used to the many bowling alleys int he binghamton and PA areas, but not impressed with this alley in ithaca and the fact it is the only option. never anyone there and only one worker/bartender/pinservice in the entire building everytime i go thus obviously leading to wait time on all services. If there were a compettitor in the area, they would probably easily put this place out of business.

I have bowled here for many years regularly and love it. The owner is a good guy, he and his wife are very chill. Not the highest class I guess, but its a bowling alley...if you want a cleaner, more expensive route you can go to Trumansburg, but it is old school and you have to keep your own score. I have to say I miss when Ides was an option in town but Bowl-O-Drome is fine with me.

Most all of these reviews are pretty old. The guy that people refer to that gives poor service still works the desk, but the new owner keeps him in check. Ive bowled here with my family 6 or 7 times so far and the new owner (Indian lady) is fantastic. If you had a bad experience, Id give them another shot.

Bowling is awesome. This place is classic; an Ithaca staple. I found the owner helpful, and if he is at times abrupt, nothing wrong with that. Im not there to make friends with the staff. I go there to have fun with my friends! For those who dont like it, feel free to leave town to find an alternative.

I use to go to bowl o drome when i was a little kids when my grand mother my mother aunts and cusin bowled on leages and i have to say its still a great place now My husband and I take are son and are grandkids on Friday nights for rock a bowl. Its a lot of fun for all of us.

they are disrespectful and i dont like how they treat their customers. i dont like when the owners talk in there own language like no one knows what their talking about. believe me they talk about others and its not so pleasant. i WOULD NOT RECOMEND ANYONE GO THERE!

We had very bad service and we payed for a hour and they cut us half way and would not refund our money. When I went to express my my complaint I was completely cut off and they would not let me speak at all. This bowling alley is a waste of time and money!!!!

i was going to go bowling at this place but after a miserable 5 min phone conversation just trying to get their hours of operation i when somewhere else. p.s. this guy was a jerk and im sure all the bad reviews you read about this place are true

Great bowling experience. My entire family had a great tie (including my two school-aged children). Very friendly staff, modern equipment, clean and bright. Theres a good snack bar and drinks. Even the bowling shoes were comfortable!

Wonderful bowling experience, great facilities, ramps for the kids, papa John delivers and the snack bar and bar are handy. One of ithacas best go to spots for family fun.

Not the most modern place, nor the cleanest. But they have good prices for a fun bowling night. They have a bar, pool tables, air hockey, and a couple of arcade games.

Bowling alley with digital score keeping which is nice compared two the other two alleys in the area. The prices are okay. Drink prices can be cheap sometimes.

This place does not appear to have changed since 1983. That is not a good thing. The one employee working when we were there was very rude. Go somewhere else.
