Really Bad and Disappointing The bulb flickered the whole time. Not as bad a strobe light, but I noticed it before the movie started and apparently my wife was distracted by it during the whole movie. I was distracted by the fact that you could see the texture of the screen. Every time there was a light color on the middle area of the screen you could see the texture. I also noticed how blurry the picture was. I know it is going to look 1,000x better on my TV. I dont remember that being the case with the theater in Waynesboro when I went to see Star Wars (because this one didnt have Star Wars, you know, because they are a movie theater, why would they carry one of the biggest movies of all time?). These issues are absurd. If I am going to spend almost $40 for the 3 of us to see a movie it should be much, much, much better than this. We could have owned it on Blu-Ray forever for half the cost. This is why I almost never go to the movies anymore. I will be going to Waynesboro next time, this one isnt worth going to for free. To Regal: Before you ask me to provide feedback on your site, I already did and got no response!

This is a very new theater. Its very clean, and the seating is super comfortable. The seats tip back and have plenty of foot room. I do feel like some of the screens are on the small side. The IMAX theaters are nothing special. Ive been going to the IMAX in Richmond for years, and that screen wraps all the way around, making for a real 3D feeling. So it may be a case of me being spoiled by that theater. The IMAX here is the same as the other screens in the theater, so I feel its a let down and not worth the high price of the ticket. Other than that, their concessions are what youd expect. I like the Violet Crown theater much better than the Regal. At Violet Crown the theaters are more intimate, the seats are a bit more comfortable, and certainly the concessions are unsurpassed by any theater. You can have a real meal while watching your movie in comfort.

Love the "stadium" seating and legroom -- No one gets in anyones way. Projection and sound systems are quite good and popcorn is hot and fresh. Does anything else really matter? Well yes, one thing... 20+ minutes of uber-loud trailers (oftentimes containing material not well-matched for those in attendance) is downright excessive and I have found myself nursing a headache or "theater fatigue" before a movie has even started. So what if the extended lead-in has saved my bacon when running "late" to catch a show; I would still rather sit thru one or two obligatory trailers and maybe suffer an annoying promo for the theater chain, but then GET ON WITH IT! Unless we are worried about seat availability, we just show up 15 minutes after the advertised showtime and are still able still to get popcorn and a drink - then hopefully skip the advil.

This is NOT the iMax screen like the one at the Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC I expected. Its considerably smaller and the tickets are more expensive ($17.50). Also, after being reminded to turn off phones and refrain from disturbing other audience members, we were distracted throughout the movie by an usher repeatedly walking in front of us with a flashlight… for no apparent reason. The sound system is designed to add excitement to action movies but after watching the nine trailers and four commercials preceding the film we paid to see, I just wanted it to be turned down. The nearly 3-hour movie turned into a 3.5 hours bladder burster. The theater should sell catheters with the popcorn and drinks.

Very nice. Only have had one mix up with movie time change, tickets were ordered online and theater changed the movie time, but a quick trip to the customer service desk and all was well. We were admitted to the movie at the new time with no hassle and were given to free tickets to come back and see another movie at anytime. The stairs, escalators, and elevator make sure that anyone is able to reach the theater. Box office is on the ground floor outside and the theaters are on the next level which is a bit strange and confusing at first. Also parking can be difficult as the theater is located in a BUSY shopping center with narrow roads and the parking garage for the theater is TINY.

If you get there early, the theater blasts you with advertisements so loud your nose bleeds. Same outrageous prices for tickets and at the concession stand as other mega-corporate theaters. IMHO, the Violet Crown theater downtown is far superior--basically the same price to get in the door, but the concession stand is reasonable (plus, they have booze), AND you can reserve specific seats when booking your ticket (so show up whenever). If you do get there early, though, Violet Crown doesnt bombard you with awful second-rate TV/pop-music ads like Regal does. In short: Stay away if you can!

I love Stonefield 14 & go often but at the Hunger Games recently, we noticed several of the rocker seats near us were making a loud popping or grinding sound as people moved around in them. It was loud enough to block out the dialogue in the movie especially from the wiggly kid right in front of us who could not keep still! Regals staff needs to check the rocking seats often and stop that noise because its maddening during quiet scenes with dialogue. Missing what the actors are saying from noisy seats at those prices is ridiculous.

Regal Cinemas Stonefield is an great theatre, one of the best that I have been to... however, the move was supposed to start at 4:20PM. We arrived about 15 minutes early to get tickets & a good seat & because we were early, we knew we would have to see a few trailers for upcoming films. Not a problem! When 4:20PM arrived, we continued to have to endure another TWENTY MINUTES of horrible commercials mixed with movie trailers! The actual movie we came to see started at 4:40PM! Needless to say, we were not happy with the delay.

Good movie selection. Usually clean, usually dirty under the seats but that may be because you can eat a cheeseburger and mozzarella sticks while watching a movie. Ticket lines can be long sometimes, go to the checkouts machine upstairs if you have a regal card instead to get your tickets at the machines by the customer service desk. High end shopping and expensive food nearby. Overall a very nice quality theater. First two weeks for new releases movies fill seats very fast so come early unless you want a neck cramp looking up.

No complaints about the cinema itself, its always easy to find nearby parking, you never have to wait long in line to get tickets and the place is always clean. My only issue is that good etiquette from other film-goers is not encouraged or enforced. Almost every time Ive visited, Ive been stuck sitting near people talking through movies, giving a running commentary or checking their phones etc... Id expect it at kids movies but the issue is always with adults, Ive seldom had this issue at other cinemas.

I came to this movie theater. Mind you Im from Nj. This has to be the worst movie theater I ever been to. The manager watched my neice and I for 30 minutes then going to come to us and say stop talking. I told her you and the other girl watched us since we sat down and we wasnt even talking. She like I know but the guy said yall was talking. What? I was so done with these races discriminating people. I will never spend a dollar in here ever again. And I advise nobody else either.
