My brother goes to Grad School at The University of Vermont and I must admit I was not excited to have to visit him there for the first time in the middle of the winter. However, a silver lining was choosing the Lang House for my stay. It was close enough to town that even in January I didnt need to drive from the confines of their parking lot to meet up for dinner and drinks downtown. The inn and my room were so warm and comforting and breakfast was a true standout. Th e egg dish which I cannot remember the exact ingredients of was delicious and the smell of fresh baked muffins drew me downstairs by the nose like a character from a Saturday morning cartoon. The entire staff was helpful and extremely friendly and helped make me completely forget that I was in Vermont in the winter. I love staying at unique properties and this place has character to spare but also completely updated and comfortable. Make sure and get dinner recommendations to as every suggestion they had was a home run!

I always stay at the Lang House when I am in town visiting family. It is a wonderful spot, especially festive during the holidays. It always makes me feel as if I am living in Charles Dickens times...... with much better breakfasts! The breakfast is a real treat, it shouldnt be missed. It is also a great place for family reunions/gatherings, my in-laws will be staying with us this Christmas and the staff has always been very accommodating when we want to use the common areas for impromptu family gatherings.

We are the next door neighbor and very familiar with the Lang House. This is a lovely facility, with pleasant, caring inn keepers in a world class neighborhood. Burlington is an exceptional city, clean, safe and interesting. The pedestrian mall is a short walk away, or take the free bus to the mall or on to the incredible Lake Champlain waterfront. Two lovely college campuses are each only two blocks away. Great walks live here! You will love this place, its location and Burlington.

Stayed for 2 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. This was a top notch place in every way possible. The house is beautiful and full of character. The staff was very helpful an accommodating. We stayed in the Fisher room on the second floor. Breakfast was fantastic both days. We plan on visiting Burlington again and plan on staying at The Lang House. I would recommend The Lang House to anyone looking for a place to stay in Burlington.

I have been a guest at the Lang House as a business traveler since 2010. It is an exceptional place to stay when in Burlington. Convenient to UVM campus and downtown, both on foot. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed. The staff is courteous, capable and professional. The breakfasts are outstanding, obviously prepared with incredible care and attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Great staff, very accommodating. Located walking distance close to everything youd want in Burlington. Food and service for breakfast was excellent. Rented out the Garden Room for a few nights stay and have to say the room was great, very cozy, B&B feel with the luxury of our own personal space and entrance. If I ever make it back up here, I am definitely booking here!

A great place to stay when visiting BTV. The rooms are all uniquely decorated and beautiful. The breakfast is out of this world. Loved having three choices everyday. The best part by far was the friendly, welcoming staff. Its easy to tell they are all dedicated and enjoy what they are doing. Great job Lang House.

Beautiful house and awsome breakfast.a nd cookie ..but overall too expensive for a B&B. Arrival is at 4 pm, so if you show up before, they say go in town and come back at 4 even if room is ready. Not flexible for early arrival
