Ive been here for a wedding and its beautiful. Food was ok not the tastiest, but that is besides the point. Im planning my own wedding and looking for venues in CT since my fiance is from CT and I am in NJ & i wanted it at the ARIA because we both have large families and the ballroom A was perfect for us. Lets just talk about how bad the service was when we tried getting in contact with them about availability and pricing. My poor fiance probably called for a week straight and left them countless messages. When the receptionist or whoever they were would answer, they would simply say "let me take down your name and number and well get back to you". THEY NEVER DID. My fiance kept calling and once they even told him that they would "pass on the message". I called and they said they would call me back... called me back 6 hours later when I was at work. I sent them an email two days ago, got a reply today at 1 am and before I checked my email, i called them one last time to see if they would answer. I complained to them saying weve been calling for a week straight and have gotten nothing. The receptionist says "oh they probably busy with appointments back to back" and said shell see if anyone is available to talk to me... I WAITED ALMOST A HALF HOUR ON THE PHONE & JUST HUNG UP. I wish i could give them no stars because they definitely do not deserve it. They can stay looking pretty but theyll never get my business.

Recently we attended an event held there for couples who are getting married at Aria to sample the main courses and get a better idea of the food. We had been to one prior and it was fantastic for us. Unfortunately it cost us $60 for our parents to attend and all we recieved were appetizers. The lines were long, the food took forever to get out to the people when they ran out and we even ran out of plates. As a couple, you certainly do not want to see this before you plan to have your wedding at the same venue. There was no water even on the tables for people to drink and the staff simply told us to wait in line if we wanted water from the bar. The line was 80 people deep and had one or two bartenders to assist. Not the way I wanted to spend my evening with my parents. I had to go get someone who was in charge to finally get water brought out to the tables. I had heard the good stories from others and I certianly hope that they can live up to the expectations we have. I will say that the staff did not honestly seem to care and observed them being rude to several people including myself. These are bride and grooms who are spending a great deal of money to have the perfect day. They need to be reassured that they are making the perfect decision about a venue and not dreading it.

Dear Lina, You said it would be perfect and it WAS! Coming from out of state; not knowing the area or any local vendors was going to prove to be a challenge or so I thought. I was extremely nervous having family coming from across the country and from every direction to a place I knew absolutely nothing about. You told me not to worry, (but I did). In hind sight it was a waste of energy. Guests are still talking, raving really. From the display and service of the appetizers, (it really did hit that WOW factor), to the timing of service of all the following courses, we could not have been more pleased. The food was prepared and cooked to perfection. People are calling to say they have been to a lot of weddings, but ours really topped the charts. Those compliments actually belong to you and your staff. It was just what Dominique (and Carlo) had envisioned. Thank you again. I wish we could do it all over again this weekend. And to anyone reading that is considering Aria as your venue, dont hesitate and dont waste a minute worrying. You couldnt be in better hands. Im very picky and particular of all the little details. Beautiful location, but the food was abysmal! I got the mahi mahi, and it was overcook (to the point of being chewy) and served on a bed of what tastes like boxed rice, with frozen peas and carrots, and a sauce made up of... Indistinguishable fruit? It was bland, boring, worthless. My fiance got the filet mignon, which he said was okay, but the "whipped" potatoes tasted like they were from a box. The drinks were watered down to the point of being worthless, although the couple getting married had an open bar, so we were able to have as many as we wanted. The staff was also extremely exuberant with clearing the tables; they put out fresh bottles of wine towards the end of the evening, and pulled them after about 20 minutes, all (at least at our table) mostly full. It did earn its one star with the appetizers, though. They were quite good. The bacon wrapped scallops were delightful! Overall, I would not recommend. Save your money and go elsewhere, or find a caterer to do food at the venue, because thats the only way youll have your guests leave feeling happy.

I had the pleasure of getting married at Aria in April 2015. Let me just say that Aria exceeded my expectations on all levels! My dream wedding came true in front of my eyes and the year of planning was well worth it. The food was incredible, still get compliments on it to this day, the place is beyond beautiful with amazing lighting and nice decorations and the staff were so pleasant to work with! They even made myself and my husband eat that night which I appreciated because we needed someone to tell us to do that or we would not have eaten! The staff were consistently checking on us to make sure everything was going as planned. I recently had the pleasure of going back there to attend a wedding and being a guest was just as amazing as being a bride! I would love to continue to visit Aria because I am never dissaponted! I am already planning Valentines Day there and then New Years next year! I am so happy that my wedding day was so perfect and I will forver be grateful to the staff at Aria!

My fiancé and I are from out of town. We live in Boston and planning a wedding from so far away could be difficult but not with the staff at Aria! From the wedding vendors to the décor, they have a wealth of knowledge and have been a source of recommendations and suggestions. This sort of guidance has been a welcomed breathe of fresh air. I can call them any time with questions &/or requests and they are always more than accommodating. I attended several bridal fairs and bridal tastings in the area however, Aria’s events stand out amongst the competition. The first time my fiancé walked into Aria, he was awe struck. He came back to Boston with a plethora of photos & videos to share with our friends & family in excitement of our big day!! We’re so excited and cannot wait for our beautiful wedding this May with the help of everyone at Aria!
