8th Grade Rec Basketball Coach would bench kids for the first half if they missed practice. Practice was Friday night and not changeable and we did not receive practice times until after teams were assigned. Management feels it is appropriate in this rec league for coaches to bench kids for half the game if their parents cant accommodate the practice date and time Marv Jenson Assigned. My son does not even want to play now after having to sit out half of each game. Ended up reassigning my kid to another team mid-season. Hopefully I can keep him excited to play moving forward

Terrible management, grumpy staff, disorganized, inconsistent, facility falling apart. I have tried several children sports programs and Im always disappointed here. Not worth the 5 bucks I saved per kid to come here. Will never come again. This facility caters to elderly and retired people. Not sure why they offer kid programs if they dont even want kids in the building. So dissatisfied!

I went for a Zumba class yesterday. The lady at the front desk was rude as she told us that Zumba was combined with circuit class, but we decided to try it because she said it would be half and half. The class was enjoyable, but it was all circuit, and since I wanted to do Zumba a waste of $6. I dont think Ill be back.

Marv Jensen is an awsome rec center. They have more and bettter equipment than Dimple Dell rec. They have three (3!) separate fitness rooms. The receptionists are very friendly. You have to bring your own towel, because they dont offer them here. They are also closed on Sundays. I like this rec center.

I pretty much grew up at Marv Jensen doing different activities and swimming lessons and then working out as I got older. Its not bad, but its kind of getting old and there isnt a ton of equipment to choose from. The nice thing though is that its very rarely super crowded when I would go.

Used to go here for a quick pump during my lunch break. It was an inexpensive fitness center. Their free-weight and cardio machine selection was great. Lunch is great because there are hardly anybody there. Theyll loan you a towel if you forgot yours.

This place is so out dated! My daughter has played basketball here for 2 years now. The court is off in the back and its cold and dumpy! I definitely wouldnt pay to work out there and wouldnt pay for a membership.

The information posted here about the hours is incorrect. Marv Jenson is open Mon through Thurs from 5 am to 10 pm. Friday -- 5 am to 9 pm. Saturday -- 7 am to 9 pm. They are closed on Sunday.

They offer a variety of kids sports programs that my kids have participated in. They also have racquetball, basketball and other onsite activities with babysitting offered as well.

My favorite place...weight room is bigger then every Rec weight room. So much room to get a great workout. Great for those who workout and dont want a bunch of kids in the way.

Way too overpriced. Go just a bit farther to the south and you can get a pass for newer equipment, gyms, ect.. for half the price.

Good rec center, and has a pretty good pool for swimming. Great swim team, too. Yes, I am a swimmer.

They are good to work with. Fields can be overcrowded without enough parking on Saturdays.

The staff is great and the free weight room is the best out of all the County Rec. Centers.
