You spend so much money on a venue you would think they would let you do things your way. But if you booked the entire venue for the entire day you still have to do things their way. We had an event with about 200 people that lasted five hours and halfway through they took away all the food and the drink so they didnt have to take down the venue after we left. So the workers were too lazy to clean up after we left so they shut down our event piece by piece as we were doing it. We will never come here again. Whoever owns this venue needs to treat people better. We were warned also by people who previously booked this venue of how awful it was to deal with the ownership and as it turns out they were right it was awful. If they had an owner that listened to its customers and actually did what they wanted then that venue may actually become pretty popular. My last company party wasnt too bad but when I booked concerts there... yowza, the venue (club sound) is much more easy going.

This place should get sued for ADA violation. Sitting for disabled people is behind standing people. So if you go there to see a show and you are disabled, be prepare to see people s back. Your view to the stage will be blocked by people in front of you. Even the companion of a disable person is not allowed to stand up to see the stage. Unless you are blind and just there to hear the show, then good for you. It seems like because you want disable sitting , they punish you by not letting you see the show. So if you are disable in a wheelchair forget seeing the show because they will put you behind standing people who will block your entire view of the stage. Wasted our money to see our favorite band but instead we watched peoples back. And security there has no respect for paying customers.

I saw The Reverend Horton Heat at the Depot in July 2010. The club holds around 1200 people. Its non-smoking, which is nice for us non-smokers. Nearly everywhere has a good view of the stage. Clean, good-sized restrooms. Theres a bar on the back wall and another bar in a side room. Since its a bar, its obviously 21+. Its a very clean establishment, and doesnt feels like a dive. Its located in the Gateway District in downtown Salt Lake, so theres also plenty of shopping and dining to do before the show. Ill definitely be back.

What a joke!!! I needed to return my nickleback tickets cause the show was cancelled. Information online and on phone machine said open Fridays 2-6. Showed up and nobody was there, except for a sign that said closed July 3. I have called over 10 times left messages and emailed, still have not heard anything. Called again today cause its Friday nobody was there, except for a sign that said closed July 3. I have called over 10 times left messages and emailed, still nothing.

One of the worst concert experiences Ive ever had. I couldnt breath because there were so many people. Trying to get a drink was the worst part! They only had what seemed like 3 or 4 bartenders working during a SOLD OUT show and I thought some were unnecessarily rude. Trying to cram anyone 21 and older on the 3rd floor was a terrible idea. It shouldnt have been an all ages show. Needless to say, I left the concert early and will probably never go back again.

The most intimate setting I have ever seen Morrissey play, and I saw him play at every venue in the United States. I have a few pictures from the event, but honestly I forgot I had my camera for that brief moment in time, and you know what? I remember it even more vividly without the digital still images. Thank you Morrrissey and The Depot! I had pre-conceived ideas of what Salt Lake was going to be like, and well I was wrong. Salt Lake rocks!

The space has so much potential, but its seriously mismanaged. Takes 30 minutes to order a drink, but 30 second to be harassed by security. Bar is understaffed, security/ticketing overstaffed. And their people are on a major power trip. Complete disrespect for paying customers. Ruined more than one show because of constant and unnecessary harassment from their staff. With new management, this place would be a best in class venue.

Besides having great sound and a cool venue the general manager and the employees are really great. The general manager went out if his way to help me with a situation that was not his fault. He took really great care of me and my wife and gave us a fantastic experience. He really cares about his business and doing things on the up and up. I just want to say thank you! Well definitely be back for more shows!

I went here a few weeks ago for my first concert- St. Paul and the Broken Bones. I thought this was a really cool venue. The staff was what made it- I bought my tickets through a third party and even though I hadnt gotten them in the mail, they helped me figure out an option that worked for me. The bar has good choices, although its a little pricey. Not a bad venue for a concert!

Went there to see Jose Gonzales live, good crowd, peaceful atmosphere but the sound just wasnt there. It was not only weak but also could hear ventilation piping buzz and rattle for Jose Gonzales(not too bass oriented music) for a drumm and percussion. Will definitely go there again for great music.

Love this venue!! Easy to get to and park, the staff has always been friendly, even when theyre busy. Its clean and you never have to wait for the bathrooms. They have seating options available and most shows Ive been to have food! Great sound and perfect size venue. What else do you need!

If you can afford to spring for the VIP seats, do it. Upstairs in the boxes is the way to go. Or get in early and grab one of the open upstairs seats. The downstairs is for the twenty-somethings who dont mind getting beer spilled on them in the standing room only front stage area.

The staff here are very very friendly, making concerts here very enjoyable. The audio quality is good. The only thing that baffles me is how they get such popular names to stay in a smaller venue like The Depot. Always some really good bands playing here!

They bring some great bands. There is not much seating, and there are a lot of places where you cant see the stage. Drinks are expensive, and if you buy a beer, get it in a bottle because the draft beer seems watery to me. I prefer The State Room.

This is a great venue! The concerts are very intimate and its just a clean nice building. I saw the Aquabats here and it was just a great experience! Some pretty big artists such as Morrissey, Snoop Dogg, etc. have performed here.

my first visit; however, i loved the sound quality in this venue. good selection of drinks. staff was super friendly. I live quite a distance from here, but I am keeping my eye on this venue for future shows, as I do travel a lot.
