wont be a returning customer do to the horrible treatment of the GM Marty. Attached is his very unprofessional response to an issue I was having with a coupon I bought. Also if youd like to know how he feels about US UTAHNS please just keep reading. Marty you are a complete ass. Good thing Groupon thought so as well and refunded my every dime. FROM: Marty Rasmussen 10:18 AM (2 hours ago) Hello Alyson I apologize for the trouble you are experiencing. As part of the fine print of the groupon you will see that there can be some restrictions regarding groupons. when you buy the groupons for restaurants you are unable to use them on holidays like valentines day and mothers day. well in the movie industry we have more restrictions because the movie companies basically own our screens. they can and do tell us what we can and cannot do. the restrictions for these particular movies are the first two weeks we cannot accept groupons. one week has passed already so after this week we will be able to take them. We did not "trick" you WE ARE NOT GROUPON. I am sorry you had a bad experience with Groupon. If it were up to me we would have never gotten in bed with that company at all. I think they are horrible but for some reason people in Utah treat them like money. Oh and when you call it would be best to call during business hours we open at 11:30 in the morning. I am here in the morning at 9:30. But to be clear once again we are not Groupon. you bought from Groupon. Groupon does have fine print that explains these issues clearly. Have you tried calling them?

I am going to start this review by saying I hope the owner of Brewvies responds to this review, I would like to settle this matter. I Was at Brewvies last night when my date when we deliberately had beer spilled on us by a group sitting next to us, then were threatened by them multiple times till we had to leave. The other guests were threatening to torture us after the film in the parking lot after the film. Plenty of other patrons heard them, and some even spoke to management on our behalf. We went to management for help and they did next to nothing. They would not remove the people who were threatening us, which was a group of about 10 people. To quote the manager a heavy set gentleman "I make 8 bucks an hour what do you expect me to do?" They could have simply asked them to leave and called the police if they did not comply. I managed to drink about 1/10 of my beer before the incident. Brewvies would not refund my dates and my drinks or movie tickets for a film I got to see 15 minutes of. In fact this lady who worked there as a waitress new the people who were causing the problem and pretty much egged them on. I used to go to Brewvies so often they dont card me anymore, and this is how they treat a good customer. They likely over served the party that started the incident, and would do nothing to help a women who was treated by a group of 10 men. Think if you really want to take your date to this place. I am going to credit card dispute the charges. The downside is I really used to love this place.

Theres something magical about sharing a pitcher of local craft beer while watching a movie in a theater! This place is a local gem! The theater is a regular size theater, which is a nice change to the ever-so-popular mega theaters around town. The seats are pretty standard, and actually feel slightly bigger than the mega theater seats, it didnt feel like we were crammed in like sardines in a can. The sound system was awesome! One of the coolest things about watching a movie here is that there is a bar just outside the theater door, and kids arent allowed. On each row of seats there is a small shelf to set drinks, food, or whatever you want. The shelf has dim lights that dont distract from the screen, but make it easy to see, and that is handy for more than just pouring a fresh new pint of beer from the pitcher. Even if you dont drink, you may love going to this theater for the convenience that simple shelf offers (think of eating an amazing plate of nachos, or a pizza, and having a spot to set things and still see what you are doing). Think how nice date night will be in a theater where children arent allowed. We recently watched Deadpool here, and it was one of the most pleasant theater experiences of my life!

A message for all Monday night Film Buff Free Movie attendees: there WILL be long lines for drinks/food, there WILL be limited seating in the theatre, and most importantly, there will be attendees who do not adhere to typical movie theater behavior. These are things I like about Brewvies. Brewvies has never fronted trying to be a 5 star "customer is always right" type of place. Movie goers raucous laughter makes me enjoy movies more, like watching your favorite movie with 30 other people who also love that movie. If youre a fan of the movie, get there early. If you dont like waiting in line, avoid that by getting there early. Perhaps a pinnacle point here, tip the employees. This is a free movie. This is a popular night. Of course the employees want to do well, and they do well with what theyve got. Id love to see some one or two-star reviewers do their job for a while. Especially you, Casey Staker. The W Lounge didnt exactly have the greatest customer service reputation. Brewvies is doing their best and bringing something to the community. For those who dont agree, simply choose a different movie theatre or watch at home. Love you, Brewvies. Keep being you.

Very fun place! Over priced and very slow food but actually quite good with large portion size. Only low % beer on tap but a huge selection of alternate options. Beer is pricey but its Utah and a movie theater so nothing terribly surprising. Small theaters and the place gets crazy packed on the weekend but fun crowd. Everybody cheers and/or applauds during the good parts of the movies. Seats are really small for tall people like me but they have good leg room and a counter for all your food and drinks. They have some couches and tables in the back if you dont mind being far away from the screen. Staff is very courteous although theyre usually handling twelve requests so be patient. Justin is great if you are fortunate enough to get him! Go early if its the weekend and you want a good seat.

Super cool concept, unfortunately theater was gross seats had ketchup on them, broken couches, spilled beer, sticky floors, womens bathroom was covered in graffiti. I dont recommend using a Groupon here they are all on different pages on what movies are allowed to use groupon vs not. I was told 3 different stories on which movie I was allowed to see or not... which makes no sense once the door guy checks your Id you can pretty much just walk in. The bar tenders are all equally rude and put out to help anyone in line. I would also like to point out I visited on a Monday at 2:20 was told to leave and come back at 4:00 to use my groupon for the proper movie which I was then told the opposite by a different bar tender when I arrived for the 4:00pm show.
