The golf part was SO fun! Such a great atmosphere! The service was not so great. We waited in line for a membership ship which was fine. We had to wait in another line afterwards to get a spot for a bay which was fine too. As we put our name down we realized we didnt ask who long the wait was. We went back to ask they said 2hr and 15min. We would of been fine waiting because we all wanted to play. The only thing was we had sitters to get back to and couldnt leave top golf at midnight. We than asked again how accurate the wait time was. They said it will be for sure 2 hr and 15min as they looked our name up again. Our group stood outside for a bit and talked about what to do. As we decided just to come back another day (30min later) we got a text saying our Bay was a! Which was great but what the heck happened to the 2hr 15 min wait? We were all getting ready to leave. We got our group back together went in and they walked us to our Bay. As they walked us up the bay wasnt ready and people were still using it. So as the worker walked us out we saw a bay that just opened and asked if we could have that one. She said yes, and cleaned it for us. We started to play and it was so fun... UNTIL something on our screened popped up to extend Time. We wanted to extend our time so as we clicked yes on the screen it told us to swipe our cc as we swiped it no time was added so we swiped again still no time added, so we had someone else swipe their card as they swiped still no time added. We realized than everytime we were swiping it was charging our card and putting the amount swipe in our membership. We called over our server she said yes, you put 60 on your membership after you swipe your card for more time you need to go into your membership and add the time from your account... ok? The system walks you through the steps and nothing says that... nor was this explained in the beginning of us playing. My husband looked up his bank account right afterwards to see that yes, he was charged many times for different amounts. His friend that swiped his card as well was given a credit of 10 dollars? Dont know where that came from when he charged his card for that amount. My husband was so annoyed he went to guest services to get his money back thinking it would take 2 seconds to refund him of the over charges. No, it took him about 40min to talk to someone about this screwed up system of theirs and he missed the whole 30 min of extra time we had added to play that he didnt even get to play. He paid for it and got over charged. Plus this was for his birthday. So as we were playing the 2nd round (that wasnt even fun because we were all thinking about my husband getting his money back and where he even was) my husband was over fighting to get his money back the Manger was telling him he could leave it on there and he could use it next time he came in? (no we wont be back now the system is a scam) he had to show them all the charges that were showing off his account they offered to give him a free hour... we had to all leave so that doesnt help nor help the fact we lost 60 dollars onto a credit a credit we didnt want. Anyways, they had him fill out a form that he said was like filling a police report for him to get his money back. they still werent even sure if they would be able to get his money back by the end of it. So my husband left pissed. Said it was the worst night and never wants to go back. He spent all this money and only got to play 45min of the 1hr 1/2 he paid. They didnt even offer to comp. Him the extra 30 min he paid. No customer service was given for this mess. Besides a hr free that we couldnt even play and with the charges that were over charged it wouldnt have been a free hour anyways. So watch out with the system. Pay with cash!

**UPDATE** Topgolf reached out to me regarding my previously negative review. They wanted to ensure that I had the opportunity to experience the actual Topgolf experience rather than just the wait. I can say that I am beyond impressed with Topgolfs commitment to customer service and the value they place on ensuring their guests have a great time. While I still have issue with the way the wait time, reservations and lifetime membership card process works, I can say that the actual game of top golf and the facility is spectacular. Absolutely gorgeous facility and fantastic game. My 6 year old, husband and father-in-law had an amazing time. I am very much impressed with Topgolfs actions in trying to remedy an otherwise bad experience and would definitely recommend the facility to someone who knows how the initial wait process works. **ORIGINAL REVIEW** We called to reserve a bay a full week in advance and were told they only make reservations for parties over 12 (despite the fact that the bays are paid by the hour, not by the party members). We showed up at 7:00 on a rainy Saturday and was greeted at the door by a nice young lady who told us that if we didnt have our lifetime membership card, that we should go stand in line. We stood in line for a half hour and paid $20 for 4 cards and were then told to go wait in the concierge line. We stood in line for another 15 minutes only to find out that the wait time was 3.5 hours. When I asked why it was that they didnt bother to tell us that there was a wait time either by the concierge who greeted us, a simple sign posted in the lobby, or by the people selling the lifetime membership cards, they indicated that they cant "communicate with those people" because they are "all the way over there" (i.e. across the lobby). Conveniently enough, Top Golf just happens to have an overpriced bar and restaurant available to all of its guests who want to spend the 3.5 hours waiting for a bay. We decided to cut our losses and leave, but I will tell every single person who mentions Top Golf again how big of a racket their business model is. Not only did I waste an entire night because they wouldnt accept reservations, but I lost $20 because of their poor communication and management system. It would be quite simple to post a sign that indicates the expected wait time so that people know prior to purchasing a card that is useless. I cant believe I spent $20 and 45 minutes of my life at this scam disguised as a fun golfing club.

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced! First we walked in, and went up to the counter to get new cards printed because we forgot ours, everyone standing at the counter ignored us, even when we tried to get their attention. Finally a lady came to help us, she couldnt find our name in the computer system, so she had to make and print us new cards. She gave us the cards then told us to go pick a bay and told us that you just pay on the computer at the bay. We noticed that the entire 3rd floor was open, so we went up there. We waited in the line and when we got to the very front the guy told us he couldnt let us have a bay up there because we had a baby. Shes only 5 months old and was sleeping in her car seat. But he wouldnt let us in and told us we could find a bay on the lower 2 levels, so we went down stairs and there were a couple bays open. We picked one and started setting our stuff down when a waiter came over and told us we couldnt sit there and that we needed to check in with the concierge and they would assign us a bay. So we picked up all of our stuff again, and went back inside to the concierge booth. We were really annoyed at this point that we were getting the run around from everyone and that this topgolf was so disorganized. So we gave the cards to the concierge guy, he took them and said there was a 2 hour wait to get into a bay. Even though there were tons of bays open that werent reserved and the whole upstairs was open. We ended up just leaving. This place is so disorganized. Their employees have no idea whats going on and arent helpful at all! Their rude and just give you the run around. And the third floor is a waste of space! Ive been to the Arizona location and it is SO much better! Their employees are so nice! And you can just walk in and pick a bay. You dont have to have some concierge guy "assign" one to you. Dont waste your money or time here. They dont care about their customers! TOPGOLF UTAH- You should learn how to run your business better and care about your customers! Maybe take some notes from the topgolf in Gilbert Arizona.
