I would rate this less than a star but it wouldnt let me. I would like to say that the associates there are rude and snobby. Ive been to one other alamo draft house location and they were exceptional. However this location provides the worst customer service! I didnt appreciate the waitress snatching up our tickets just to have them shoved back in our faces. She just stared at us and then stormed off. She didnt smile nor greet us. If it had been my first time ever there, I wouldnt have known to place my order on the paper provided because she simply didnt say a word to any of us in our group. I think the sight of her back was more friendly then she gave off on her face. I would like to include that I ordered something so simple as fries due to having a food allergy. Nowhere on the menu does it state it would be covered, yet, smothered in green onions (Im severely allergic to onions! And thats putting it mildly). When they brought them out I was confused because it didnt look like the cheese fries I had ordered. When I asked the girl if they were green onions (may I again state that it said nothing on there that it would come loaded with green onions) she said yes. I quietly explained to her that i couldnt eat them because I was allergic to them. her response was "well just so you know this is how they come!" *insert eye roll and a snarky head bob* I then said again I didnt know (as it was only my 2nd time ever going to a draft house) but I couldnt eat them because I was allergic.. what I got back was a rude bitchy "I understand that! But thats just how they come. I can pick them off but for future reference this is how its made!"... first of all, I dont think she truly understands food allergies as I cant eat onions or anything onions touches due to the acid in them which causes me to have a reaction to it. Secondly, its not like I ordered something complex like a burger or salad where I would have to ask if it comes with it or even think if onions would come on it such as FRIES!!! She left then came back not even 2 minutes later and slammed them down and said "theyre on the house!" I definitely know they werent fresh as it was that quick.. so they had to of just picked them off so I couldnt and wasnt going to eat them.. regardless if she had charged me or if they were "on the house" I am not going to risk it. Im not looking or asking for free stuff but I would have at least expected better service as me going there pays for the establishment to stay in business and their employees to work there. If you end up going there, pray you dont get service from a girl named adrienne! If you hate customer service or food service, why work somewhere where its a requirement?! The stone oak location must be known to hire employees that hate what they do because Ive heard nothing but bad things about this location! NEVER AGAIN will I go back to this location! You couldnt pay me to go back there and endure the worst service there is... and I work in retail so thats saying alot.

Ive been here a few times and overall its been pretty standard for a Drafthouse, especially during special events. I went last night for a quote-along, and it was hands down the worst experience Ive ever had at any Drafthouse. I was with my boyfriend and another couple, and we all placed our order together before the movie started. We asked for 2 pizzas (brussels sprouts/bacon/goat cheese and a carnivore) and 2 philly cheesesteaks, no special modifications or additions. The 3 other people I was with got their food at the same time, and a waiter walked up a few minutes later to offer me the wrong pizza. This happened at least 5 other times throughout the movie, with waiters offering us food and drink that we didnt order (nor the people sitting around us) only to have them wander back and forth a few times before either giving up or finding the owners. About 10 minutes after everyone else got their food and I still didnt have mine, we flagged down another waiter and asked if he could check on my food. He responded with "Im not your waiter, but I can see if someone else can check." Um, okay. Finally, about 10 minutes after that, yet another waiter returned with my pizza and a duplicate of the pizza my boyfriend had ordered and was already halfway finished with. I looked at the pizza he gave me and asked if he had brought me a pesto pizza by mistake because there was something blackish/greenish covering the entire pizza and I didnt see any brussels sprouts on it. He explained that they were under the cheese and that was that. I took one bite of this pizza and immediately figured out what was encrusted over the top: a thick layer of black pepper. There was so much pepper on this pizza it was inedible. I forced down 3 slices (attempting to scrape off some of the pepper) since I had already had a couple of drinks, and just left the rest behind. We already had so much trouble that I didnt bother asking for a replacement pizza. I absolutely love the Park North Drafthouse, so I think well stick to that one from now on. Im terrified to order food from Stone Oak again.

Last year, I took the family to see "Boxtrolls." My brother and his family were in town and I suggested Alamo Drafthouse for the experience of a movie/restaurant atmosphere. As we settled in and reviewed the menu our servant asked the age of my daughter as she was asleep in my arms. Our smallest child was 2 years and 6 months at the time. The servant asked her age and we gladly told her 2. She immediately informed us that she could not be in the theater. Only 3 year olds and up were allowed. I asked to speak with the manager as we were regular customers and have never had an issue before. When I spoke to him he relayed that there were no exceptions. I again explained how we were regular customers and that we had not informed of an age limit as the ticket attendant gladly took our money. He explained he would refund out money, and that if we did not remove her, they would call security. I asked that they please do, and sure as the nose on my face, here comes a security guard to escort my 2 year old daughter and I out of the theater. We would have all left except that all other theaters were sold out for this movie as it was an opening day. My other children were excited and settled in as well as their cousins, etc. I left with my 2 year old as the rest of family stayed for the kids’ sake. Point in hand, we have NOT returned to Alamo Drafthouse. Not a family oriented establishment, and No concept of Customer loyalty and/or exceptions to the rule. It’s not like I was going to be a repeat offender. I was not aware of their rule and they should have bent the rules in this case. Asinine.

OK, so Ive moved my rating from 2 stars to 5 because it appears that Alamo Drafthouse was listening. If not to me and my post then some other like minded Texan. Either way I commend them for leaving up the 30.07 sign up and pulling down the 30.06 sign down. If you are simply a gun-hater, I might suggest you read below on the other sides perspective and at least think twice before putting yourself at risk. We have always enjoyed the evening out here and its great to have a movie, dinner and drinks under one roof. Food was good, not great, not bad but all in all a great experience. I was very disappointed during my last visit here to find out that they had posted the 3006 sign forbidding conceal carry licensees from carrying into their facility. I get the 3007 sign and not wanting people to open carry but you would think they would have learned something from the Aurora, CO theater massacre. Places where people are not allowed to carry and defend themselves are the first place an assailant is going to choose when looking for a target. Even if you dont carry you need to be aware of this and use caution when entering a TX business that has the 3006 sign posted (not the 3007). Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that but the same goes or me and I wont give patronage to a business that first doesnt allow me to have a level of protection for me and my family and secondly for a company that does not support our right to bear arms that "shall not be infringed". All the best
