Ive been here a handful of times and its beautiful. Im so glad McAllen has a theater. I did have to dock a star for the staff though. When I went to see The Russian Nutcracker the lines to get in were chaotic because of the lack of direction from the employees. The Ushers didnt escort us to our seats even though they had done so at previous events and they were quite rude when I asked if they would. The concession stand line was also disorderly because they never said we could form more than one line. All in all its a wonderful place with awesome events but need to work on their customer service.

I attended the performance of Greater Tuna last week and was very disappointed. I had seen several versions of it years ago in Austin, and it didnt begin to compare with any of those events. Additionally, the center was uncomfortably cold - not just for me and my friend, but everyone around us was also complaining about being too cold. I mentioned this to the usher during the intermission but he merely shrugged his shoulders, and offered no solution.

This place is fun as long as youre not in the extremely high seats. You literally need to hold on to the rails in order to not fall forward.

Easy access from highway, seats wide enough for large boned people, free parking close by, well organized, lots of bathrooms.
