When the best musicians in Houston rave about performing at a place, it must be great. The Green Oaks Tavern is the best you will find! "Big thanks to Debbie and Steve Bixby for creating a space that makes you feel like you are in your living room playing to friends; if youre a MUSIC fan get out to The Green Oaks Tavern you wont regret it." -- Jonn Del Toro Richardson (one of the many great artists you can find playing here). Live music is scheduled 6 nights a week with open jam sessions Thursdays and Sundays. I can say personally, weve never been disappointed and really enjoy getting to know and listen to all the artists that come out to play.

Nice, inviting, cozy little pub with friendly staff and theres usually always a nice group of people hanging out there. Wednesdays they have open mic night and Saturdays they have a live band perform and each one weve seen is awesome! Weve heard live bands play everything from rock to blues and jazz type music...really enjoyable! *fyi - Ive never seen them serve any food.

Classy, relaxing, friendly, they have karaoke nights and a band at times, bartender has been a long term employee there and is great with everyone. The drink I was suggested based off what I described I like and didnt was excellently. Good job:) People are also friendly. You just need to visit and see for yourself. Youll be back:)

Great Little Pub with Friendly Staff. Smoking is allow which is a downside but the atomsphere is good. The Beer collection is decent. Tuesdays is two dollar drafts all night. Good place to meet up for a few.
