I love Pole Position, that is really the bottom line. I am disabled and when I went to their facility I wasnt sure if I would be able to drive the karts and safely attach my IV so that it would be able to run with no problem. Well the first race I went to the counter and the staff was really helpful and said I could try getting in the cars without having to pay and they also showed me opportunities to save money if I decided to race. Ok so I paid for one race and went through the orientation and got strapped into the kart and my heart started pounding. I used to race cars and with my disability I have been stopped from racing because I cant pass the physicals for SCCA or another club. Thankfully this track is long enough to have a lot of fun at and it has places to pull over if I had problems and the staff now knows about my medical issues. The first race went great the track was lots of fun and the karts have incredible torque. I love the fact that they are electric and there are no fumes. Also with it being air conditioned I dont get overheated so another big plus. After the first race I checked my pulse and my BP as well as Oxygen and my Oxygen levels were better than they have ever been in 11 years. My upper body got a great workout and my heart also got a good work out and recovered quickly . So that first visit I decided to have a second race and it was even more fun than the first. On my second race I managed to get my time into the "expert" range and that just fired me up for more. I decided to end after two races and afterwards I sat down and had a drink while I watched others race. The staff came up and checked on how I liked it then they also showed me how the karts were put together and generally just really made sure I had a great experience. After leaving the next day I was sore from working out muscles that hadnt been worked for many years but the soreness also made me feel good that I was able to get a workout without having to be on a treadmill or bicycle. Now as I write this review I have been to pole position a total of 7 times and every time has been a real pleasure. I meet other racers and they are all really nice and the staff all know me now and I feel very welcome and not just because I am spending money. The layout has changed from the first one and is a welcomed challenge. I am not as fast as the younger guys that work there but I am happy with how competitive my times are and also the quality of the karts and track. I really believe I will be going there to get my workout and get quality people time for a long time to come. I just have to be able to budget good enough to keep racing. I recommend that if you like it that you become a member and also really consider a season pass. These two things will make it cheaper for you. Right now it costs me about $34.00 for 3 races with my season pass and membership. I ran out of BOGOs where 3 races could be had for about $21.00. I really recommend the facility, I havent tried any food there but their drinks are fairly priced and the karts are works of art. They really are a great piece of technology and with no fumes really comfortable to be indoors racing. They have some arcade games and pool table as well as air hockey.Hope this helps I know I get a little long winded about the help they gave me getting ready for the first race but that is GREAT service and why I included it. Come to pole position and I am the one with an IV hanging off the roll hoop and a big smile on my face.

First time to visit and had a blast! Karts are fast and will spin out if not driven properly. The course has lots of turns with minimal straights. The facility is very clean and the people working their were friendly. We arrived when they opened at 10am and had to wait for a group to go before us. Each race is about 7-8 minutes and gives plenty of time to get a good feel for the course. Their process is pretty efficient as they get the next group queued up in karts while the current group is racing. If you pay for multiple races, youll race and then get out of the kart and back in the lobby and get in queue for the next available race. This was fine because it gives you time to talk to your fellow racers about how things went. We bought two races and in total were there for 1.5 hours, so give yourself some time. Ill be going back soon and taking some additional buddies with me!

I was at pole position last night and the disappointing thing it is it could have been a 5 star experience very easily. They tell you that they can slow you down to let faster racers pass by showing you a yellow and blue flag. Reality is if one of the people who obviously are regular racers comes anywhere near you they just automatically slow you down so you end up getting passed by other people. In addition those same experienced racers are allowed to spin you out and bump you as much as they want so they can get around the track in a faster time. It was extremely obvious that the staff did not care when these other racers would run into people. I watched 1 racer spin me out, spin out the person in front of me and spin out the person in front of them and they not only didnt get a black flag they got high fives from the staff after racing. $50 for two laps and this experience is laughable.

The best indoor electric Go-Karting in Dallas! I love go-karts, but I dont love the Texas heat or the loud engines. Being indoor makes the experience way more enjoyable. Even if you have never done something like this before, you will still have loads of fun. The one downside to Pole Position is it can be very pricey. There are arcade machines if you are into that sort of thing, but the main attraction is obviously the Go-Karts. Do not mistake this for bumper cars, though, they will shutoff your car and take you out of the race if you intentionally hit others. It is very safe, with large harnesses and helmets to borrow. They give you a disposable head sock so do not worry about lice or anything like that. The safety video is quite informative and the instructors know what they are talking about. This is a great place to have some fun!

I have been a daily racer since the days of Renegade Unleashed, car meets were a thing. I pre paid for 3 races since my group of friends and I use to go there all the time during car meets. Long story short I decide to take my friend to go ride with me. I figured since I still had 2 pre paid races my friend and I could race. Apparently Im only allowed to use the races on myself, and I was unpleased. So even after spending more than $60 in total, I couldnt use it the way I wanted. I asked for a refund, and the only thing I was told was "sorry we dont do refunds". This place is just a money grab with no care what so ever for customer service. the situation would be different if I went up and payed for my friend’s race along with mine. i prepaid for two races i should be able to do what i want with them
