Took a date here in an effort to try something new with some live jazz on Saturday night and I am so glad I did! It was an absolutely wonderful experience. I called 2 hours ahead and made reservations to make sure there was a table for us close to the live music. The table was ready when we arived and the service all night was outstanding! We thoroughly enjoyed the music and they did a fabulous job on our sentimental requested song! Food presentation was perfect. We each had a couple of adult beverages, warm mozzerella tomato salad, field green salad, salmon over avacado with edamame on the side and creme brulee to top it off! It was the best $100 (including a 20% tip for the server) I have spent in a long time. If you want cheap, go to McDonalds and take your iPod in to listen while you eat. If you want class, get your butt over to Soho! We will probably see you there because we are definately coming back again and again!!!

This place has a great vibe dont get me wrong, But I knew I was in for an expensive night when the Drink menu has no drink prices, nor does it list the Beers they have. I expect if McDonalds can list drink prices so could these guys. I ordered the Soho Burger which came with NO Lettuce, Tomato or Onion , things i have come to expect from eating burgers all over the world, if youre charging me $12.50 for a Burger best you splash out on an extra 30 cents and give me the Lettuce, Tomato or Onion on the side thanks.....and then the Bill came with a 20% compulsory Tip included in the Price, Yes we would have tipped our waiter 20% but good luck if you get a crap one, they are getting a 20% Tip weather you like it or not. Bottom line is if youre charging this much for Drinks and Food, ditch the compulsory tip and pay your staff right.

My husband and I went for our first wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our night. We got their relativity early and were seated immediately, there was a pianist during dinner and around 7:30 or so a jazz quartet started playing. It was more a Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald style jazz which we loved. We knew we were in for an expensive night, and dont get me wrong, the food was sublime...but we shelled out quite a bit of cash for the very small amount of food we received, we actually ended up leaving hungry and picking up Taco Bell on the way home! All in all, we will definitely be back but will likely stick to drinks and enjoying the music.

We entered in the restaurant for first time to have a drink and desert ...the host guy told the couple who entered before us that u have to have reservations..they left and he ask us I said we going to the bar he said they is no space I said dont worry I will squeeze us in..he kept looking we came to the bar found chairs had appetizers desert and drink. ..the host seems like he is racist. ..you dont want other colour put a sign ...but I will say Jeff bartender was awesome. ...it seems like all employees were stress for some reason need someone who can manage this place better...business can be very good if staffs start treating customers right...

Server had a manbun, had a old man try and serenade my wife and I at the table, he was struggling, couldnt sing and he had a stain on his shirt...he looked homeless and we couldnt even hear him. Appetizer was miniscule, the cream corn was an absolute joke. It was just cream. Entree with the scallops had raw bacon around it. Someone brought me the sea bass that looked dry, I told them we didnt order that. At that point the food is dead but Im sure they served it to the customer that actually ordered it. The establishment looked old and worn out, needed to be updated without question. How this place has 4 out of 5 stars is beyond me.

The atmosphere was very romantic and the lighting perfect. My friend and I ordered the sea bass and the Jamaican jerk duck. Omg! The sea bass melts in your mouth and just comes apart with a fork....and the Duck! Wow! The Jamaican jerk seasoning wasnt too spicy, and the rum sauce that came with it was to die for! The food in this place is really amazing and I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes!! Bring a date our just a friend and I promise that you wont be disappointed!! Live music every night also!! I gave Soho 5 stars because it was worth every penny and had such a wonderfully awesome vibe!!

Honestly after seeing the 4 start review I had high hopes for this place. Not the case, cant give it anything higher than 1 star. Food portions over priced and small. Bacon was raw on the bacon wrapped scallops. The lobster lasagna had decent flavor but piddly amount of over cooked lobster. We got creamed corn and it was entirely cream, no corn. WEIRD!!! Like can I get a side of corn with this cream. Worst ever!!!! Sent it back!!!! Water taste like lake water. Salt container had brown bits in it (not rice, like old pepper crust). Server was nice. Just unremarkable overall for sure!!!! BOOOOOOOooooooo!!!!

I love the live music. Hate the small food portion on the hummus. And they charge $3 for soda water. What a rip-off. No prices on the drinks menu, which is one of my pet peeves. How are you supposed to order if youre not rich? Ask the waiter to tell you each price? Dumb. And the menus look like they were typed up by a five-year-old. Wait, thats an insult to five-year-olds. Ended up spending $50 for two drinks and a small app (that includes $5 for the saxophonist). Thats not much less than we would have spent for dinner and drinks for two at Thai Star and they have live music on weekends, too.

The food was wonderful but the management is awful. When asked if a particular item contained any peanuts or broccoli we were told no, but when the food was served it had broccoli stems and had peanut oil in the meal! And when we asked to take the food back we were told by the manager we that theyre a small restaurant and try not to waste food and instead of having us replace the meal asked if we would just take a 20% discount and free dessert! Needless to say I just paid the tab and left hungry but at least without an allergic reaction causing extreme pain.

SoHo food and jazz is the best resturant I have eaten at. I ordered the salmon, which came with avacado, watercress, and edamame. The tangerine vinagatette which dressed the dish was a perfect tangy complement to the salmon. For dessert, I enjoyed the house made creme brule which was so plentiful I had to split it with my husband. The creme brule would have been too decadent without a cup of their fresh coffee which was endlessly refilled. I will definitely be coming back.

I typically like to look at reviews before trying a new restaurant. I must admit, the reviews almost made me travel across town to enjoy jazz elsewhere. However my husband and decided to dine in. I was very pleased with the inviting atmosphere. There was live music❤. I ordered the snapper and my husband ordered the lobster shrimp lasagna. It was sooo good. For desert we shared the deep fried cheesecake. The best cheesecake Ive had!! Definitely going back.
