This place looks just like some other older recreation centers. Theres somebody at the front desk all the time and theres a security lady who is at the desk looking at the monitor or roaming around the property. 99% of the people I saw at this center and in the pool were African-American. Thats kind of unusual these days and makes you wonder if theres a policy or if thats just because of tradition. The pool was absolutely ancient. It was like going back in time to pay what? $2 or something like that at the old timey booth. The bathroom is open to the sky, which does seem to keep it clean and fresh smelling (?!) Just dont sit down on the burning hot metal seats!! The park was one of the more beautiful and clean city parks Ive seen in Dallas. The rec center and pool were clean and secure.

Its a great place to take kids, reasonable price. I noticed a lot of kids just being drop off. The cashier was rude. I noticed her picking on certain people to get out of water because of clothes but would not tell others. Other than that good place to go take kids for a swim.

The park, pool, and rec center were recently redone. There is ample parking and lots of space. People often hold parties in the park and the pool is clean and well managed.

Good swimming pool, but to access the deep ones you need to be an adult or do a test to get a bracelet, and the rules are strict
