I want to start out by saying that I dont often write reviews. But this seemed utterly necessary. I went to the Hard Rock Cafe to see a girl perform the other night. I hadnt been to the Hard Rock in at least 10 years and was interested to see the differences. The service was downright deplorable. A flippant waitress seemed to personally victimized that we asked for drinks. I ordered some blue concussion that wasnt filled to the top, and I asked if a little Hard Rock stick would be put in it. (I write a local blog and thought it would make for a nice picture.) But the drink was disgusting and I couldnt take a decent photo the way it was sloppily put together. We ordered the appetizer platter for our 8 friends. It came 45 minutes later while the artist performing was BLASTED into our ears. I should have brought ear plugs, but I though this was a restaurant after all. The appetizer was bland and chips were stale. I ordered the mac and cheese. Dont order the mac and cheese. Soggy, cold bread with pasta- Kraft could have done a better job. As a last ditch effort I ordered a wine. My mouth dropped when the waitress gave me a half glass of $8 wine. Everything was bad. The food, the music, the drinks, and all to the tune of too much money. Save yourself, dont go to the Hard Rock. I never will again.

I am a native Californian, more specifically I am from LA. I have been to the Hard Rock in LA and the Hard Rock in San Francisco numerous times. On New Years Eve my boyfriend and family were looking for a place to eat before a concert at the House of Blues. Having been to the Hard Rock numerous times in other cities I suggested we go there for dinner before the show. If our family had not been with us my boyfriend and I would have turned around and walked out as soon as we got there. The place was only 25% full but they refused to seat us because 70% of our party wasnt present. Okay, I can kind of understand that rule especially if the restaurant was full (which it wasnt). We sat in the bar area where the bartender was not friendly at all. Once everyone got there we were escorted to our table that was still in the almost empty restaurant. We ordered and had to wait AN HOUR for our burgers to arrive. Again, if my boyfriend and I had been the only ones there we would have left. The food was okay, I ordered my burger (an hour for burgers....I know.) rare and it was medium well at best. I felt extra bad because this was my suggestion as I have had excellent service and food from any other HRC I have ever been to. We will never go back.

Over priced food, subpar service, watered down alcoholic beverages. I was expecting a lot more from HRC. The food was almost double the price in comparison to a similar style restaurant, but the food was not twice a good. Weve had $5 burgers that were 10x better. Service was adequate, barely. If I am still eating food, why do I have to ask for a refill? Shouldnt that be common sense? "Oh, this person is still eating. I bet they need more drink." Yeah. Our waitress came by our table twice (and passed by a few times) with both our drinks empty. Of course, we figured she would be back with more drink, but we eventually had to get her attention and ask for it. My margarita tasted like water. I was scared to overpay for anything else; afraid it would be just as bad. They didnt have a grilled cheese sandwich on the kids menu. They offered to make one anyway. Um, while my husbands sandwich came out on toasted bread, my "sandwich" was a hamburger bun with cheese. Seriously? Have they never seen a grilled cheese? It was soggy and gross. Plus, they charged us for a cheeseburger... A $7 soggy cheese sandwich. Needless to say, we wont be returning, ever.

Hard Rock Café & Bar right in the heart of Victory Park, nudged between Downtown, Oak Lawn and Uptown? Wow. This place has a location that cant be beat. Prices are a bit high for everyday American food basics, but its the atmosphere and bar scene that make it worth your while. Service is good while its relaxed, but can be slow or seemingly non-existent when its packed, which is somewhat understandable. This place deals with huge crowds from American Airlines Center (Stars and Mavericks games, plus special events), Convention Center wanderers and local and international business travelers and tourists. The gear shop is stocked with great clothes and memorabilia, and weekends are extremely popular with live bands, djs and corporate parties. The bar scene can be at times chaotic, with young professionals, cougars, couples, tourists, business travelers, sports fans, hipsters and singles looking to mingle all converging on this place. Drinks are pretty good and strong, a bit pricey as well. Still, it is a Hard Rock Café in the heart of Victory Park and you just cant beat the energy and atmosphere of this place on weekends. Its an experience.

This is the worst place ever. We went for food, & Drinks and the host told us 10-15 min, & it ended up being 45 min. Then when we sat down to eat, we ordered our food, and it took over an hour....So, when the food did come out, it was cold as ice, so the mangaer came by, and she told us how sorry they were, etc and that it would be 5-10 min to remake everything. When the food arrived 25 min latter food was warm, but tastes horrible. (The 1/2 rack of ribs was 4 tiny ribs, with 5-7 bites of meat total. It weas like they cut the 1/2 rack of ribs in 1/2 and ate them, and brought the rest to me.) Everyone else at the table was very upset that the trip for dinner was 2.5 hours, and Hardrock was not even busy...Food was horrible, service was horrible, very unprofessional, and a complete waste of time. Needless to say that after all this they brought us the $138.00 bill for everything like they did us a favor. I expected to pay for the bad food, but the least they could do was knock off 10-20% or offer something..... Nope not here! Id go to McDonalds before i EVER go back to this location!!

Horrible giving the dallas hard rock even 1 star after my families experience seems generous. going to the hard rock has been a tradition in our family for over 20 years and we will NEVER be going back the atmosphere is substandard its a far cry from what it used to be in Dallas and from experiences we have had at other hard rock cafes world wide. If you wish to visit the Hard rock cafe i suggest visit any other city because your chances of eating decent food and enjoying your surroundings will greatly improve. Not only did they lose our call ahead seating they forgot to put us down for a table twice after arriving. After we were finally seated we waited over an hour for our food. Two people never received their food till 10 minutes before we left (we spent 2 1/2 hours in the restaurant) the manager was plain RUDE and we stayed patient and polite through out the entire experience. This can barely be considered a restaurant and nothing like what the hard rock cafe represents around the world the only word i could use to describe the DALLAS HARD ROCK CAFE is SHAMEFUL!
