This club is now owned by a second-rate hack promoting group called "Ardent Entertainment." They call it Planet Rock, but there isnt any Rock happening. Instead, they have pajama party movie nights, male strippers, karaoke and crappy 80s hair metal bands from the UK. All the while, they refuse to book any local acts without a guarantee of ticket sales. They dont promote their own shows worth a damn. The lead booker, a guy named Josh Toro, half-asses pretty much everything he does. His promotional skills are mediocre, at best, and his booking is a joke. This club is also located on a street corner in the middle of nowhere, with nothing nearby of note. They also talked about expanding the club and remodeling throughout the summer of 2013, yet, that never happened. The club is falling apart financially, and with the continuing incompetence of Josh Toro and his fellow colleagues at "Ardent Entertainment," things are looking grim. Avoid this place like the plague.

My friends and I purchased tickets for the Magic Men Male Review. We drove an hour and 20 minutes to get there only to be told that our table that I reserved a week prior to the show was not available. In fact they had removed all of the tables and it was standing room only. The manager/owner, not sure who she was only said she didnt know what to tell me. That the show had been sold out so they had to remove all of the tables. She did not care about anyones concerns. So Needless to say the place was packed and there was no way anyone could see the front for the show. They were over capacity and there were several arguments and hair pulling between patrons. The while the people who worked there would not do anything about it. Very disappointed in this venue, and will never return.

Will never go back there. First off the bartender tried charging me for 3 extra beers. Yea they eventually fixed it and admitted they screwed up but secondly Ive been to a million shows and Ive never got close to being kicked out. I was watching the band upfront and the people noshing kept hitting which whatever I can take punishment but I kinda warned them to stop but they didnt so I started pushing back. So someone complains and without any warning or talking to they immediately threw me out. If they thought I was being an ass and being to aggressive at least warn me first. Total BS. I was the one minding my own business at first.

The venue sounds great, but how do you operate a venue that hosts metal, punk, hardcore, metalcore, etc. and EXPLICITLY BAN MOSHING? Was at a show tonight, the singer tried to get a circle-pit going, people were having fun before bouncers stepped in the middle of the pit to tell people to stop and spent the rest of the show standing there. They were threatening to kick people out for bouncing around too much at a METAL SHOW. They actually DID kick some people out for asking to buy merch too late, and even did so damn near forcefully. I dont care who is playing here, Im definitely not going again.

I bought tickets to see saving able. The tickets was $40 for the couple with toast at midnight and dinner as well. They said dinner would be served at 12 with toast. Saving able played till 1:30 am. No toast for ticket holders but the band did get a toast. No food at all. The food we bought when we got their was nasty. Nachos was a slice of cheese and melted in microwave. Cheeseburger was nasty as well with a hard bun. Concert was ok. Shouldnt be an all age when the band is shaking up beer and letting go all over everything and everyone. Lead singer very sexually. Will never go again.

Up close, and personal!! Ive been to LOTS of other venues and this place literally ROCKS! From not only being literally 10 from your favorite bands, while they play, to drinking a beer with them on the floor between sets....I admit, driving up to it for the first time was like "whoa!", however, once inside, was awe stricken by the amount of TALENT that has passed through the same doors I just walked through. Pay no attention to the ass-sacks that wrote negative reviews...I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! m/

I play in the rock band. SCRAPYARD. And I have played at PLANET ROCK 6 times in the last year with bands like SLAUGHTER....GREAT WHITE.....TRIXTER.....FIREHOUSE.....AND TONS OF AWESOME LOCAL BANDS. AND A.J. THE OWNER AND HER STAFF ARE A CUT ABOVE ANY OTHER CLUB WE HAVE PLAYED. SHE IS A QUEEN AND TREATS HER BANDS VERY WELL....( unless u suck) the only thing the club needs is dressing rooms. But other than that.....TOP RATE ESTABLISHMENT. CHUCK "CHIGG" SIMPSON. drummer. SCRAPYARD

Tiny little place. There isnt a lot of parking and there isnt really a driveway into the parking lot, its mostly all curbs. The bar is nice and they have some good beers both on tap and in a bottle. I got some kind of halloween themed cocktail that pretty much just tasted like vodka and sprite... but it was cheap so thats cool. The stage is nice and the light show is cool. This is probably one of my favorite places to see a concert.

ruined a great show when our car was found broken into, window busted in,valuables gone, and only a block away with line of sight to the front door! all the security people were at the back door!!WTF! they said they patrolled an hour before the end of the show and missed SEVERAL cars that were smashed in...2 hrs of driving there for that! at least the bands were good a small comfort in the cold ride home!

The atmosphere is great here. I love the walls, contrary to other reviewers opinions. The stage is a great size and they offer adequate seating. Their staff can be a bit slow, especially when delivering your food, which is decent at best. But who goes to venues for the food anyway? They treat the bands respectfully and their sound guy is great.

A pretty cool venue. Nice and small so theres really not a bad seat in the house. Personally, I love that you can drink from the bar and watch your show if youre so inclined. Friendly staff and clean bathrooms too. Those usually dont go hand in hand with concert venues, so I was pretty surprised to see this.

Nice venue, very small. They have excellent staff that are very good at making things run smooth. The concerts feel very personal due to the size and presentation of the place. Will be going again very soon.

Wonderful people, music, and atmosphere. Only downside was that the bartender I had was unattentive the whole night, and the food (though it was really good) took an hour and forty-five minutes to get.

Small in size but brings in some great bands. The sound was upgraded a couple years ago and is top notch. The bar staff has always given me great service and the security is professional.
