My family and I visited the park for our first time today. We were having a great time until we came in contact with one of the ride operators named Chris Buchanan. On more than one occasion throughout the day my husband and I observed him yelling at kids in the kid zone. Apparently he works at a waterpark but is very offended when he gets wet. He actually tried to put my 11 year old daughter in time out when she accidentally squirted him with one of the water guns that the park has attached to the rail. She even said she apologized. It seems that if the park did not want their employees squirted with water they should not provide water guns in the kid zone. When we spoke with Robert, Chris boss about his rudeness his only response was that Chris is one of their "strongest enforcers". He did not apologize or act concerned. Perhaps your strongest enforcer should not be dealing with young children but should be near the lazy river where teenagers are chasing each other around, rough housing and running over little children? While I have no problem with rules or my daughter being told by an adult not to do something it is all in the way it is presented. There is a tactful way to speak to people, even children, to be respectful and gain compliance at the same time. Yelling in a childs face bringing them to tears is not necessary. Other than Chris extreme rudeness this was a very relaxed park. However, this experience will be reason enough for my family never to return. There was a lifeguard named Brionna that was very sweet and helpful... perhaps she will soon give a class on verbal judo to her co-workers.

Beware, there is a dangerous slide that cuts children on their feet, face. All the children avoid this slide that is in the middle and is purple and the staff and manager knows about it. My son went for the first time Friday, June 26, 2009. He lost skin off of both feet and he saw several other girls bleeding and being treated with first aid. I dropped my son off 2 hours, when I came to pick him up I was told that I COULD NOT GO inside to pick him up. I explained that I had tried his cellphone. They summoned the manager and she recited that it was against policy for me to enter and suggested I go by the fence and yell for him. I said you better call the police because I am going to enter to find my son so he can leave. She finally asked for me to leave her my carkeys. They charge $12.99 for admission! Also locker use is 4 bucks!. Here in Desoto it is 5 dollars all day and free locker use. Overpriced and dangerous. I called the above number and it rang endlessly, no pickup and no answering message or nothing. My son CAN NOT play in his basketball tournament because his feet hurts to walk. I applied gauze and ointment. I WILL BE REPORTING THIS TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT!

Worst manager ever, 07-14.2012 . We had fun, until it was time to leave as we were being scorted out of the water just to find the shower barricaded, so my wife decided just to have my 2 toddlers daugther be change into dry clothing, the manager of the facility was quick to lock the door behing my family, as to this i was ready to come to my families aid when i noticed a female that open the door from the inside (good thing) so i stoped, while i was waiting i saw an listen how the manager scream " YALL MAKE SURE THEM PEOPLE GET OUT THEY KNOW WE CLOSE AT 6 ( opens the womens restroom door an screams) YALL GET OUT PARK CLOSED AT 6PM DONT WANNA LOCK YOU IN AND LEAVE YOU,HOW MANY OF YOU IN HEER", obviously this men does not have any education and should not be manager of a family oriented bussines if he is annoyed by this, as i watch how he kept loking to all females that walk by, i really which background check would be done, i know i will be more carefull if i ever go back to this place, an keep a phone so i can video this again so every body can see how this men talk to and behaves an to a certain point abuse of his own employees..

We didnt even stay. We bought a Groupon to use here, got to the park 20 minutes before it opened, and purchased an additional ticket for my son. We stood in line and watched as 17 buses pulled up and unloaded about a thousand kids with about 10 "chaperones" to oversee all the riff raff and nonsense that was going on. We asked for a refund, got a refund for my sons ticket; however, well have to go through Groupon to get a refund for that. Unless you are used to spending your day at the water park with an obscene amount of inner city rec center kids bused in by the hundreds, I recommend spending a little more money by buying a ticket to Hawaiian Falls instead. This place has GOT to regulate how many busloads of kids can be dropped off on any given business day. Unless, of course, theyd rather not be open to the PUBLIC but to the rec center kids who apparently frequent the place all summer long. Nothing against the kids themself ... everything against the fact that there is no parental supervision and the "chaperones" are few and far between. NOT a place I would take my 2 and 4 year olds to hang out at. No thanks.

Lets start with the good. Pros: The kids had so much fun its entertaining for both kids and adults and a good amount of shaded tables. Cons: Food wise it was horrible Im not picky its a waterpark I get it. My story I went June 25 Their is two stands one for chicken tenders and refreshments and one for grill which has burgers and hot dogs. We stood in line to order burgers and after a hour of waiting they tell us we order in the other booth. A lot of people were as confused as us so at this time I wait on the other line and my husband stands in the grill so it can be faster cause by this point we have waisted two hours just to get some food and than my husband gets pulled out of the line cause they go by the receipt number so they have your food ready according to them by the number which they dont....... you have to physically show your receipt so than can START cooking your burnt burgers cause they gossip faster than they cook... My first and it was a horrible experience!!!

Mantente alejado. Mi familia visitó este sábado pasado y tuve que hacer que mi marido y mis hijos salir cuando era iluminación. Los socorristas estaban dejando que la gente nadar cuando era aligeramiento justo sobre el parque. Sabía que no podía ser seguro así que nos fuimos. Estaré solicitando un reembolso de groupon. No volveremos.

Señora luz rodriguez ni se le entendió a su comentario de su iluminación y q iso salir a su marido no se de donde ,,,,,,,,,ami me encantó y a mis niños por igual y los socorristas están ahí pero ay que ser responsables y no nesecitarlos por eso ay que tener precaución ...mucha jente cree que los tienen q andar cuidando

We got there at 3 oclock and the staff knew they were expecting to close due to rain. Now true enough no one can predict the weather but a simple "we are expecring rain please refer to our rain check policy" would have sufficed. So imagine my suprise when it starts to rain at 4:21 and we have to leave. They say the only way to get a raincheck is if the facility is closed one full hour before 4 due to rain... BS. As a first timer im definately NOT going back. The general manager was very snobbish about it as well as corporate. Wont be getting anymore of my money. ASSHOLES
