A friend and I did the zipline at Bottom View Farms. It was a lot of fun. Upon arriving at the farm it was difficult to find where to go to do the ziplining. After we found it we had to wait 30 minutes. We walked around the farm. It appears they have a lot of activities in the fall that are not open during the summer. The guides fitted us with zipline equipment. They were kind and enjoyed joking around with the customers. We took a wagon out to the first zipline. The first one is small so you can practice riding and braking. The rest of the ziplines are around 600 to 800 feet in length (told to us by the guides). The ziplines increase in height and speed as you progress. The tour includes around 6 ziplines (I cant remember the exact count). You go over ponds, fields, and through trees and there are nice views of the hills. It was a nice variety of scenery. Its strange because you want to look around while riding but it is also fun to go fast. The ziplines seemed to be designed with the riders safety being the most important factor. The towers are very well constructed with large, cemented I-beams. Very sturdy on top of the tower - no wobble. Upon arriving at the top of the tower the guide immediately attaches a line, that is affixed to your harness, to the tower. This is to make sure that if you were to fall off the tower you would not hit the ground. Once you are put on the zipline they release the line attached to the tower. When you reach the tower at the other end the guide there immediately attaches you to that tower. Very well organized in regards to safety. The whole tour took almost an hour. There were 4 people in our group. It could take longer with larger groups. Im going to take my family back. Im sure my kids will love it and have no reservations about their safety on the ziplines. It was a lot of fun. We were going to eat at the restaurant at the farm but it was closed by the time we were done ziplining (around 11:30 AM). Must be a good restaurant as it was full the entire time we were waiting.

I planned a trip to Bottom View Farms with my family and friends for my nephews upcoming birthday. Me and several friends (12 total) went to the farm with children in tow. I had called the number listed on Google all day for our anticipated trip. However, when I called the recording said they would be closed that Saturday due to rain. I knew the recording was from the previous week because it was Friday and it was a beautiful day. When we all arrived, an older lady came out of a booth and advised they were closed. The children were all crying due to their disappointment. I explained we had driven over an hour etc. I asked that out of the errors in time on Google and the extensive drive that she give us at least 4 free passes. She explained her soon to be husband would not be so gracious. I requested she call him so we could discuss the matter. Upon getting on the phone, the man had a rude demeanor. I advised I would be giving him a negative review as well as tell my friends and family in the surrounding community about the discrepancies and treatment. On that note, he said "well, I would have given you the free passes, but I am not doing so now." He then hung up on me. The lady kept speaking ill mannered to me. I told her to just walk away so she didnt get hit by one of us leaving. She continued to talk, but I simply turned around and walked to my car....with my child still crying for the pumpkin patch. Just so I give a fair representation of this business they did say that we could play on their playground while we were there. Thanks but no thanks. I didnt drive an hour to swing.

I attended a wedding at this facility. As barns go, it was nice...but all in all, it was just a barn. Wooden tables and benches were provided and a raised platform was at the head of the barn. I suspect they can just remove the tables if they are wanting to host a dance is some sort. The facility didnt have air conditioning, which is expected in a barn, so having a party in the middle of summer gets a bit warm...especially if you are dancing. The whole time there, I saw only one wasp. No bees, hornets, mosquitoes, or other flying insects (other than flies), so I am guessing that they must be proactive at getting rid of wasp/hornet nests or spray the area to keep bugs away.

Very disappointing! They had most attractions closed off for a wedding but we still had to pay the full $10 per person just to ride a hay ride to a very disappointing pumpkin patch (we were not told that most areas would be closed). Most pumpkins were rotten or run over. The guy driving the tractor wasnt very friendly on top of that. Most of the animals that should be, werent there and those that were seemed very unhappy/unhealthy. Wont be back and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Grew up right beside the farm. It was my place to go to hang out alone before the past few years when it became popular. For anyone who may have given a bad review: this was my childhood. Maybe if you had the same nostalgia as me, you could see the appeal.
