We went last week while on a family vacation. I didnt enjoy it the way I wanted to. Im somewhat of a history buff and I wanted to see the exhibits and learn more about Titanic but I didnt really get to do that as it was much too crowded. We were a large group of 24. Unfortunately for us, right before they let us in, they let in another large group that was on a guided tour. We got through the first few sections flawlessly but then we bumped into the tour group and from then on, we kept having to stop and wait for them to move on so we could keep moving as the museum is very small. Our group is rather rowdy and our kids were getting restless so I felt like we were disrupting them but it wasnt our fault. We just wanted to enjoy the museum. Meanwhile as they let more people in, there was a crowd building up behind us so we ended up rushing through the rest of the museum without seeing everything. We didnt even get to sit in the "lifeboat" at the end, which I really I wanted to do, because the tour group was still there taking up all the seats. It wasnt their fault. After all, they got what they probably paid extra for. Their guide should have been more mindful of the crowds and move them along a little quicker. I have a bad back and by this time I was really hurting from standing for such a long time so I gave up on waiting for the "lifeboat" and went outside to sit. They should consider setting aside a specific time frame for guided tours only so this doesnt happen. Im planning on visiting the one in Orlando so hopefully Ill have a better experience there. Ill make sure to write about it.

If you like learning about the Titanic, you HAVE to come here!! My fiancé and I are Titanic fanatics and have visited the traveling museum a few times.. this location absolutely blows them out of the water!! The building itself is awesome, it makes you feel like your on the actual ship, its even cold inside! There was so much attention to detail when putting this together. The workers were in costume and you could tell how passionate they are about their role. My favorite was the captain, who actually looks like the captain from the movie and is one of the few people in this world that got to go down and see the wreckage himself! They had a rushing water display which really puts things in perspective. A lot of great extras like the freezing cold water you can touch, the iceberg, lifeboat, and so much more!! Only downfall was that it got crowded because the audio tour slows things down a bit. Get ready to spend 2 hours here...the real little kids got restless after awhile though, so keep that in mind.

I absolutely LOVED this place. I am all about the titanic and its history (other than the movie!). We took a trip to Pigeon Forge mainly to visit Dollywood but stumbled upon the Titanic museum and Im so glad we did! The place looks like a ship right of the road..you cant miss it! As you walk through the museum you feel like you are actually on the ship, you get to learn about the passengers, their lives, and untold stories. My favorite part was the staircase, actual artifacts, and the iceberg inside the ship, where you could also touch the 28 degree water and get a sense of what it was like to be in that freezing water on that dreadful night. At the end you can learn more about the surviving passengers and where their lives took them after the Titanic. Finally, there is a pretty great gift shop for souvenirs! This is an awesome place, highly recommend!

This is an interactive Titanic museum, with actual artifacts rescued from the Titanic. The staff get in character and share the story of the ill-fated unsinkable titan. At the beginning of the tour you are given a boarding pass with a persons name and background and through the tour there are subtle hints as to the person whos pass you have survived the sinking. The last room has a wall of remembrance to those who perished and survived. There you will find the name of the person on your boarding pass and find out if that person survived. Its hard not to feel mixed emotions while on the tour. There are faithful recreations of the hallways, cabins, and the Grand Staircase however as you interact with these you hear the story of how events passed that cold April night. Food, drink, and chewing gum prohibited inside as well as photography.

A truly amazing experience!!! You are first handed a boarding pass with the name of one of the passengers. We spent about 3+ hours learning about the stories of so many of the passengers, who they were, where they were from and where they were going. Crew members wore period costumes and spoke about the person they represented. Letters, postcards, tableware and other artifacts were wonderful. It is a self-guided tour with audio, and even inter-active audio for children. Well worth the time to visit this wonderful museum!!! Two things stand out, for me, a full-size replica of the grand staircase, and a 110-year-old grand piano which I was able to play a duet with a "crew" member, Nearer My God to Thee. Wonderful!!!!! Thank you for a great experience!

This place has a few great highlights, all of which are interactive: a scale recreation of the ships grand staircase, the "iceberg" wall, troughs of 27 F degree water for you to dip your hand in so you can experience the cold the passengers were floating in, and three deck segments at different degrees of tilt so you can see if you could have hung on while the ship split in half. The rest of the tour is entirely forgettable- exhibits that are awkwardly arranged, too many placards that brag about how rare/expensive an item is, and an awkward audio tour. I would recommend this place if you are interested in the Titanic, but unless you are a huge Titanic buff, dont linger on the audio tour too much because it goes on for way longer than you would expect!

Audio museum. Some of the numbers are not in order. After number 18 it went to 26 then next room said 20 which said go back to a room we were in at 17. (Audio number on walls to listen to about the display) Friendly staff going through. But rude gift shop photo worker. Kept telling us we had no choice, we had to buy the photos. First the photos came out eyes close, crooked smile and one of us not want even looking. Like he took the photo with out saying are you ready or 1 2 3.. so we didnt want any photos and she was rude. So we just walked away. And the cashier in the gift shop was so nice so we just let the other rudeness go. Oh and no cameras or phone camera allowed.

The Titanic has always been an obsession of mine and this museum has intensified it even more. To see and hear the stories of survivors and the ones who perished was heartbreaking and emotional but it was well worth it. You are handed a boarding pass with a person and part of their story on it as you go in and at the end of the museum you find out that persons fate. They also have a room with an iceberg in it and freezing cold water at the temperature of 28° for you to be able to imagine how it would have been for those that night. I can go on and on but Ill stop. A truly amazing experience that I plan to go back to and see again.
