Well, how much can one say about a park? Let me try...The times I have been to this park have been quite enjoyable. Whether its softball, disc golf, walking, hiking, or just out for a church event...this park seems to have a well rounded capacity. The walking trails are clean. The park as a whole feels safe even when its getting dark. It is used quite a bit too, so there are always people around. All in all, it is a nice place to visit.

I lived beside this park for 8 years. This park has so much to do: there is frisbee golf, two playground (one for littles and one for older kids, baseball fields, riverside walking trails, lots of pavilions, a nature center with daily activities, even camping. A great location with lost of space to run around.

Great trails both paved and dirt that go back through the woods. Foot traffic only no bikes. Also a paved track around the ballfields. Several pavilions to rent, theres bathrooms and everything is cleaned regularly. Also a challenging frisbee course. Check out the wilderness station for info and events!

Beautiful park! Great walking trails, especially if you like unpaved wilderness trails. They do have paved trails as well for those who dont have the most steady footing. Beautiful views of the river and wilderness, lots of wildlife info and maps. Great place to hike no matter your experience level.

My wife, son, and I love Barfield! I am from the Dallas, TX area and we dont have any parks anywhere close to as nice as this one. The Parks and Rec department does a great job of keeping this park clean and in great condition. I also love playing a round of disc golf, the course is so fun to play!

If you need a venue for a large party or a cookout, this park offers several pavillions with enough seats to seat from anywhere within 50-200 people. This park also has a playground and a disc-golf course. Barfield Crescent Park also offers grills and enough walkways to get a good run in.

This park has 2 playgrounds. 1 small one for younger kids and a larger one for the older kids. Baseball fields, frisbee gold and the Wilderness Center. There is always something going on at the park. Great place to meet your neighbors, BBQ and have some fun.

Its Hidden Treasures ~ The various wilderness trails located behind the Wilderness Station :-) Each marked by Paint Tags on the trees. You get a real core workout if you can do the main (RED) trail & the 2 other Loops (WHITE/BLUE )

For a local park, its nice. While a good portion of the hiking trail is paved (not my preference), once that ends the trail is unpaved. There are interesting stone formations and the river. Parts of the trail are quite scenic.

Very nice ballpark great layout centrally-located concession stand with a nice man you love the shade tarps over the bleachers makes a world of difference when youre there watching 8 hours of baseball in a tournament

Well taken care. I mostly disc golf here. Some of the holes in the woods dont have a clear path. However, it is challenging. The hiking trails are well marked and enjoyable to walk or even run.
