My wife and I are well-traveled and have some decent knowledge of wine from around the world- stemming from numerous trips to France, Italy and Spain. We stopped by this winery late one Saturday afternoon. We found the dining room to be busy and bustling with activity and the bar area to be a nice, quiet retreat. There was an open balcony area where you could enjoy a bottle of wine while watching the sunset over the Tennessee River, however it was so hot that the inside was more appealing on this particular day. There seemed to be an affluent clientele with the occasional college student group from nearby Sewanee. The owner, Chuck, has a long family history of winemaking in Italy. He was very hospitable and spent a great deal of time talking with us about his wines and the authentic imported ingredients of their pizzas. The pizza is neither a traditional New York-style or Chicago-style, but is nonetheless delicious and tastes of quality ingredients. On the night we were there, pizza and some desserts were the only items on the menu. However, I understand that on special nights they also offer steak. They have an extensive selection of wines using grapes imported from Central Valley, CA. We found the "buttery" Chardonnay and their Cabernet blends to be excellent. We liked them so much we bought three bottles to take home. I would recommend this winery and restaurant to anyone looking for a good date night or night out with a group of friends. Its an hour-drive from our home, but we plan on going back soon.

Visited this winery on a whim and didnt even know they served pizza. They have the absolute best pizza you will find in a 200 mile radius. The wine is also fantastic. The sommelier as well as the vintner are very knowledgable and extremely helpful in explaining the taste and wine making process. 10/10 would get hammered and stuffed again. I dont even like wine. Oh, and all of the pizza ingredients are imported straight from Italy. Update: Recently revisited and the pizza is still amazing. Probably the best Ive ever had. Eating leftovers as I type this. I have to add that the owner of this establishment makes the experience even better. No matter how busy the place is, he takes his time with each and every customer to ensure they get exactly what they want and get the full experience. Service like his is rare these days and something to be commended!

I heard about this place from a friend. He scheduled our neighborhood gathering of friends there. We were met at the parking lot by Chuck and immediately knew we were going to like this place. Chuck and Mike lead us through the wine tastings, everyone had a great time and found something they really liked. We had a party of eight for wine tasting then moved on to balcony overlooking lake Nickajack for pizza. The pizza as discribed on the web site sounded delicious, it is everything we expected and more, maybe the best Ive ever had. We are headed back next week and will regularly entertain friends and family there. It is a must.

Stopped on the way home to Nashville from Chattanooga. Showed up at 10:15 local (central) time because we were on Eastern time in Chattanooga. Even though they didnt technically open til 11, we were greeted and welcomed in! We basically enjoyed a private tasting since we were early and then had their pizza for lunch. The view from the patio is INCREDIBLE and the pizza and wine were great too. Nothing beats prosciutto on a pizza!! Would highly recommend a stop when youre traveling through. We walked out with 4 bottles of wine to take home and some leftover pizza too.

My newlywed wife and I went drove past this place heading to Chattanooga. While In Chattanooga we looked up winerys and wine tasting and this place popped up. On our way back to our hotel we stopped in this place for some wine but, ended up eatting as well. The service was fantastic as well as the wine we tried. And the pizza was too. As we were leaving, i believe the owner asked how everything was and suggested us to go see Foster Falls on our way back to our hotel. That was a great suggestion. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Incredible, just incredible! Great wine, wood fired pizza that is to die for and amazing views, perched above the Tennessee river. Also had tiramisu and a sampling of gelato, both excellent. The lengths at which they go to to import authentic, high quality ingredients stands out in the first bite and is a testament to the owners vision and dedication. The restaurant itself is cozy with a wine bar and outdoor seating. The drive from Chattanooga is well worth it!

Very good pizza. The owner is trying to do something new, which is serve wine with pizza. Pizza in Italy is served with beer, so kudos for the entrepreneurial idea. I must confess I prefer beer with pizza, though. The Pepino Petite Sirah/Cabernet was delicious and you cant go wrong with it with any pizza, unless you only like sweet wine. I would not do a wine tasting again, but it was my first wine tasting and I am not experienced in such activities.

We celebrated my husbands birthday at the Winery on Saturday June 3, 2017. We had a group of 12 people and we all loved it. The View from the patio was beautiful. The Pizza was delicious and paired with a great wine. The service was superior. The atmosphere was relaxed, romantic and welcoming. The wine tasting is a must do. This was our first time visiting and we will definately be back.

I am by no means a wine connoisseur but this place sucked. Im sure I could find better wine at the local Dollar Tree than at this place. They sure got the name right on this one, look out, thats for sure. If youre not from around here and are looking for a taste from something local then do yourself a favor and dont drive the 30 minutes out of your way to get there and stay downtown.

My wife and I went here on our anniversary and loved it. It quickly became one of our favorite places in the area. The view was spectacular and the pizza was great. The owner was extraordinarily helpful. My wife and I have very different wine tastes. She primarily drinks sweet wine, so the winerys selection was more up my alley, but we both ended up loving it and will be back.

Luckily for us, my terrible sense of direction towards the marina led me to find this gem of a place. The owner was awesome and very personable throughout the tasting and his pairing suggestions with the pizza were right on point. Even threw in a delicious Nutella pie for my buddys birthday! Oh, and I cant leave out the view from the patio! Such a good time!

BEST PIZZA IVE EVER EATEN!! No doubt it is the best pizza outside Italy. The Napoli and Tuscany are to die for. Great views of the river and nice atmosphere. They arent lying about the "Italian Experience" either. Its a little piece of Italy here in TN. This is my favorite restaurant in town and look forward to coming back again and again.

We had a large group of students enjoying a day on the lake and Chuck did us right! The pizza was excellent, and he even delivered it to the boat dock nearest to our location. I would definitely order this pizza again.
