We were going to the putting green 30 minutes before our tee time when the starter told me that if we went immediately to the 10th hole that we would start in front of two groups of 16 people. Starters were very organized and friendly. Driving Range was crowded with two large groups practicing at the same time. The greens and fairways were in good condition. Sandtraps were the best that I ever played. The only problem I experienced was that the twosome in front of my wife and I were very slow because they were playing from the white tees and they had no business playing from there. Since the twosome was slow and we had to wait on every tee shot that caused one of the groups of 16 to pressure my wife and I. I reported it to the ranger after six holes but he told me that a foursome of women was holding up the twosome in front of us. When we started playing our second nine the ladies were finished but the twosome was still slow. Pay special attention to the yardage at the tee boxes. The red tee box was over 5200 yards which is equivalent to the gold tees at the courses that I play at home. Other than the slow twosome we liked the course and the staff!

My husband and I got married at Litchfield Country Club. Rebecca (event manager) is so helpful and nice. We did not run into a single person who wasnt excited for us and extremely helpful. That even includes the country club members! The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a perfect day and they all helped make it that way. The food was amazing - we barely had leftovers and had less people come than originally planned! We would recommend this location to anyone wanting to plan an event in Pawleys Island. It was absolutely an all around wonderful experience!

There is no longer maid service to the cottages. They promised breakfast vouchers for their restaurant when we booked and then said they never promised same upon our arrival. Outside walkway lights at the cottage are nonfunctional. One if the cottage bathroom fans doesnt work, and a bedroom electrical outlet shot sparks when plugging in a phone charger. Upon inspection its loose in the wall. The pool proximal to the cottages has been filled in. All this while raising rates. I feel like theyve jumped the shark, as it were. No longer a good choice.

Played here four times and never going back!! 1st like every where in the whole myrtle beach area pace of play is at a snails pace at best!! If your a low handicapper the course makes no sense at all. Over hanging trees cut off all lines from the tips. Slow greens, poor bunkers, lots of old old people, no marshals and a joke of a club house. Strictly for the 70+ crowd and an overall joke!!! Dont waste your money no worth it at all!!

Best staff all around we have ever had in Myrtle Beach area. After finding out we had tee time error they worked us in as soon as possible. Price was good and course conditions great.Great greens.Freindly staff , good day.Would play there again.

Solid course for the price. Its an older course with lots of doglegs. Almost every par 4 and 5 is a dogleg. Greens had a lot of ball marks but still putted well. Bunkers and fairways in good shape. Clubhouse is small. Id rate it 7 out of 10.

Average course; slow pace; best thing for us is nicely placed junior tee box; worst thing is that my son and I got attacked by a dog on 12; there is an irresponsible owner to the right of the green; will never come back

Staff was great and courteous. Course was a very fun track, but there were a couple corners that had (imo) extra trees making it impossible to be aggressive and cut the corners if you wanted to try. Would recommend!

Litchfield doesnt stand out like other courses. There is no signature hole, but if there was it would be 13. An old style course with not much water. Still a great experience.

The bargain golfers go to! Great rates and even better staff. Make you feel very welcome. With other courses in the area youre looking to spend $60+. Great place to play!

An old fashioned Gary Player style golf course. Course has smaller greens and the course sets up well for the players who like to manage there golf ball.
