We have been coming here for the past 2 years and have always had wonderful experiences. Well yesterday that changed, I am a very patient laid back person so it takes a lot for me to get angry but when waiting to go on the little nascar ride for kids the operator of the ride was so rude she did not greet us and my two year old was so excited and tried talking to her and she ignored him. You are working at theme park that caters to children you may want to be able to communicate with them. Also this particular ride states that children above 36" can ride this ride by themselves and I can tell you that nobody under the age of 3 should ride this ride by themselves it slings me around I can only imagine a small child riding this by themselves. So I had to pay to ride this ride. They have also gone up on prices just a few months ago it only cost a dollar for a ticket and most kiddie rides were only 1 ticket. Now ticket prices have gone up to $2.00 and rides are 2-3 tickets depending on the ride. So the nascar ride used to only cost a dollar to ride and now it is $4.00. This makes me feel bad for the ones with multiple children that loved this place because it was one of the last affordable places to take your children. So if someone used to spend $50.00 to bring their children here just know you will be spending $100.00 for less amount of rides as before. I hate this because I had told so many of my friends of how much I loved this place because it was so affordable to take your children it did not take long for them to become greedy and take advantage of families.

The ride is running. You get in line. The ride breaks before you get to the front. You get out of line. They fix the ride. The ride is running. You get in line. What an absolute horrible waste of money. We got wrist bands for our young children on July 14, 2015, and there was not enough employees to work the rides. When we inquired as to what was going on, the employees lied to us and told us the rides that were unattended were broken. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were treated poorly. The manager on duty that day had horrible customer service skills. When our four year old got injured on a ride, her responses were "she should know better" and "what do you want me to do about it?" A manager who is in charge of an amusement park during peak vacation season should be customer oriented and at least be friendly. I will never recommend this place to anyone and will not be back.

I am a long time MB resident. This morning I took my grandchildren to the rides at Nostalgia Park. The website said it opened at 10 am. Got there to find out it opens at 11 am. Bought tickets and waited until it opened. Out of the 10 rides, only 5 were operating-partly because two were closed for repairs and also because there were only 3 operators for all the rides. We had to wait as they tried to operate 5 rides. They were also not friendly. The rides were not in the pristine condition as they used to be at the old Pavilion - in need of paint, trash and empty plastic water bottles underneath the "whale" ride, no music at the carousel. I dont think I will go back again - very disappointed!

Paid about 200$ for one night in a one bedroom. The offer was for a king bedroom room with a view overlooking the beach. First off the room is small, musty smell, old-worn down utilities with the cheapest blankets. Open up the balcony for my beach view that may redeem the crapfest, standing about 2 feet over the pool with a bunch of gawking tourists looking up at me. Not to mention the palm trees which covered half the view. Couldnt even see the beach. got a refund and left immediately. They need to renovate and step up their game.

Myrtle Beach Should Be ashamed Of themselves for taking away something so precious to so many.. SHAME ON YOU ALL!!! nothing there now but a sorry empty lot with a few trees and and nothing fun.. there is really nothing there anymore for families with children its more a rich people resort now.. more for the retired and elderly that do nothing but walk the boardwalk and play golf. and sit on their private balconies

Small kids have a limited number of rides they can ride, but their wrist band costs the same as others. There are some rides that small kids can ride, with a paid adult. We originally paid $60 for my two kids. When my oldest found out he couldnt ride without an adult I had to fork out another $30. We had to choose between paying $90 for two hours, or listening our kids throw tantrums.

The service there is very bad and the lady told me that my son needs an adult to ride with him when she lets other kids ride by them selves and they dont even reach the line. Also it is very expensive.just one bumper cars ride cost my two kids 18$.

Myrtle each sucks for tearing down the Pavilion. Im glad their plans failed. Literally stole a national treasure from the people. I dont go there anymore and wont. What are you going to do MB when all the old people die?

The rides that they have are pretty nice, but for $30, there arent many rides and theyre so far apart. If you go in the evening, youll waste half of your time just trying to get from one park to another.

There are 3 areas with attractions like sliders , rocket etc. But just 2 areas are really good the third one is kind of outdated. The following photos are the main attractions.

Its cool that the Pavillion rides were memorialized at BATB after the original park was shut down (sigh, that was sad) but theres not a lot to recommend this tribute.

This place has been torn down and long gone for years. It was a very very great place to take your family and friends.
