First I NEVER leave reviews but just want to share my experience with others. My son takes swim lessons at Green Ridge. Today I thought as a special treat Ill let him swim at Splash Valley. We tried to exit the doors that went straight out but was told we had to walk ALL the wa around the the actual entrance even though we are already paying patrons. The reason? They have to "click" the amount of people in the facility. Normally understandable. But after walking back into the building which was cold especially for a child thats already soaking wet from swim lessons. I thought it was absolutely ridiculous to charge FULL price for observers. My husband was fully clothe after coming here straight from work. After paying lo and behold there was no one CLICKING (the whole reason for the big inconvenience). My husband didnt come in the same time when I paid. He just walked right in no one asked for proof of payment. We finally get in and my son was allowed to get in for 5 minutes before having the whistle blown at us to get out due to "adult" swim. Ummm there was not a soul in the pool. So in all I paid for 3 which only 2 were swimming and we got to "enjoy" this place for less than an hour since they close at 7. I didnt use our free passes and wanted to use them for a different day since we only had 1 hrs 25 minutes after swim lessons. So I have 2 free passes to Crap Valley. Let me know if you want them since we will never be returning to this place.

Ive been going to Splash Valley since it opened and would rate my visits in the past with five stars however, my last three visits not so much. I have really noticed a decline in the ways things are kept up for instance, the trash on my last two visits was overflowing which was attracting bees so much so I had to move with my three grandchildren to another spot, the pool was not as clean with visible debris floating around which was kind of surprising since we had to wait after opening to get in the pool. Something else that Im assuming was a courtesy was the lifeguards or rather an attendant would help with the life jackets but this had also gone away. Also, there used to be music and ten minute safety breaks. Splash Valley has always been a very enjoyable place to come and bring the children, I liked that it was well kept and clean and hopefully things will go back to the way they were.

We live in roanoke county and have been to many small and large water park operations from here to Myrtle Beach. I have to say when you watch an extra life guard sit under the life jacket stand while one of the attractions is shut down because you dont have a life guard at the exit maybe you should get off your butt and open the attraction. Another issue I have is with the "saftey check" break for 10 mins where only adults can be in the pool. Do these people not relize that kids dont understand that they must get out and wait for 10 minutes. The staff gives you the: "I hear you complaining but I dont care, they do not pay me enough to care." I think they need to really step outside of roanoke and realize how other parks this size are ran. Maybe they would have a better facility.

Nice place to bring the family for fun. Good entry price if you come on the cheaper day. 2 complaints: food is expensive/you cant bring your own in. (This makes it hard for people with special diets.) Water is frigid. So cold that I was loosing feeling in my legs... and my kids wanted to leave after 15 minutes in the water. It was like 85 out so I didnt expect that! Honestly if it werent for the water temperature Id be back often!

Good entry price, especially for Roanoke Co residents and special events. Food a bit too pricy for what you get, but thats to be expected I guess.. and you cant bring anything of your own. I wish they had floats and adult life jackets for use. Would be nice to have pool related things for sale or rent. Even water shoes, towels, and suits for sale would be nice. Plus may provide more revenue for splash valley! Just a suggestion.

Staff was very cut and dry. Prices were over priced for what you get. 3 foot of water and life gaurds who look like they hate their jobs. The slides were cool. If your over 10. The flume slide is kinda rough hit my head almost everytime. The food was decently priced enough and pretty tasty. The bathrooms are fairly clean and overall decent. Just wish the staff was a little more caring.

I have been to Splash Valley, numerous times. I am an adult, with no kids, and me and my friends go quite often. I have never had a bad experience, and the staff are more than helpful. On occasions, it may be a bit crowded, but thats to be expected. I love going indoors to the Green Ridge pool as well.. Best thing that happened to this area.

I liked nothing. There website was unclear about the activities found at the pool. We were really unsatisfied staff by the reality of products advertised on the website. We asked for a refund, they agreed at first, but then disagreed and gave us 12 day passes. We live to far out of the area to come here 12 times.

The rides there are very nice. They have two really big slides. One of them you twirl all around and the other you go into this big bowl. It is a very good place to spend a hot day. They also have a lazy river playground and kiddie slide there. The only problem is that it is kind of expensive and pretty crowded.

We had a blast only paid 5 bucks to swim for 3hrs. I pay more than that at mommy time!! Then we got food right before they closed and got 3 chix tenders and a bunch of fries for a dollar each so i ended up getting 15pc chix fingers for 5 bucks and they were big!!!! Had a blast AND didnt have to cook...win win!

This is the smallest water park Ive ever been too. A couple of slides a baby splash zone and that is really it. Maybe an hour of fun if you have a child with no attention span. Plus half the time you have to scoot around people to do anything.

Great facility, but if I am forced to buy their food it helps if they have it to buy. No pizza, no ability to preorder and prepay for pizza being delivered to concessions and they closed one of the food windows right at lunch time.

We were driving from NY to NC. We stopped in to break up the trip and it was awesome. Kids had a blast and so did I. The waterslides were so fast and the price was great. So happy we stopped.

This was the worst experience, I had never experienced a water park so racist and mean to my young grandson. I will never be back there again, absolutely horrible. Although the food was ok
