Under developed park, the City of Beaufort has plans to develop Southside Park into a place for people of all ages to enjoy but the work has yet to be started on it. Some of the plans include walking paths in the woods that will have some small bridges crossing streams. Playgrounds for kids and even a fenced in dog park I believe. Right now it is mostly open land with paved U to drive around it. Southside park is still a nice place to go to let your dog run around and play catch.
