I cannot say this is perfect only because I listen to more underground stuff and this is more like club dancy stuff (which I enjoy also). I dont drink, so that plays into what I do also. However, that said, the music is always good (club EDM). They know their crowd. On Thursday, the do Latin and I always hear good comments. And, FYI, it is almost ALWAYS packed by 11:30/12:30. There is even good food outside if you want a break. In fact this place is 1000x better than anything in Honolulu, Hawaii. I was so frustrated how lucky we are here in KC when we went there and at the time I just keep thinking, we are spoiled when I thought about Aura. KC has a lot of clubs these days, and this is one of the better ones if you want to dance to EDM. This one always gets packed. It is not huge, but definitely not tiny either. They recently expanded, and it really is quite impressive inside. Also, amazing sound and lights - (in my opinion) best in KC. All that said, I dont go out that much anymore, only if a special DJ show. If you dont like crowded places, you wont like this. If you are looking for some music and a good night out, you should enjoy this a lot.

Where should i start. The service was great with getting your drinks and making sure you had everything you need. But when it come to security. I will let ever staff go, I was in the restroom and I saw people popping pills and doing coke and I talk to the security guard and he said thats how I make my money. I had a friend from out of town "female" that was in the restroom that said that someone walked in on her while useing the restroom. While I was waiting outside and she identified him as a staff member that worked at aura. He said that the female restroom Had a Photo booth and It was in compliance, because it was in Vegas style. After talking to management and staff that worked at aura this policy, was not aware of by anyone.

First I want to say that Ive been going to this club for years. Among many others that have been going that I know. I know the entire staff from back of the house to the front. The staff has turned this club entirely around. From the lighting, the LED lights, the bottle service, remodeling all the bathrooms. Youre guaranteed nothing but a great time. If there is ever a moment that you are not enjoying yourself the staff is on it to get things taken care of in a timely manner. This nightscene has really turned itself out by bringing in guests djs that have mainstreamed for or are big headliner DJs. If you want to have a night you wont forget, do yourself a favor and come here!

May or may not have left a pissed of drunken review. This is my sober review. Been to our 5-6 times and had fun most of the times. Music is usually standard top 40s club style. Environment is off the charts bad ass. bar tenders sorta suck. I had a tab open and ordered a second round from a different bar tender and I was told that they do not share tabs. Maybe Im wrong but literally every bar I have ever had a tab at shares tabs. No way in hell am I going to open a tab then wait for the same bar tender every time.

The hottest spot for night life in KC. AURA is the only nightclub that has a true night club feel compared to nightclubs in bigger cities. Thursday nights has the best Latin night in town. You cant go wrong with Friday or Saturday night. Saturday nights always have one of the hottest Djs across the nation as a special guest Dj. Me and my friends always have a fun night out at AURA. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Check them out! You wont be disappointed!

Amazing location with upscale classy decor, a HUGE video wall (literally an entire wall of the club), good DJs and music, well managed professional staff and none of the problems the other clubs have because they pay attention and if someone harasses a girl or behaves like a fool they are thrown out. Table service or Bottle service is a specialty, we had our birthday party there, after party for events and have always been treated well.

By far the best night club in Kansas City with great DJs, music, classy upscale décor, fun people, safe and an excellent staff who does it right! It is nice to have a place like this in KC that is locally owned (not some corporate chain) with incredible lights, sound and a unique experience. Table service or Bottle service is worth checking out if you have a group or special occasion...the VIP servers take exceptional care of you!

Was super excited to come after all the hype on the radio. Um, yeah no offence but this place is just lame. Crappy music, way too over priced drinks, and Im fine with paying too much, but they tasted like crap, and I tried 3 different ones. Also random but Im only 58 and felt out of place bc everyone there was about 52...did I not get the memo for short ppl bar?

Aura is hands down the hottest club in Kansas City. Exceptional bottle service and great price point for drinks. There is always a great show happening almost every weekend there. They can definitely take care of any special event you want to celebrate. Nothing short of a fabulous party time at Aura.

Love going here, Love DJing here, Love helping this venue in anyway possible. They have the best production, lighting, video walls, chandelier, windows in the regional area & provide great bottle & bar service. I had my birthday party there a month ago and it was an unbelievable experience.

This place has a lot of beautiful ladies and good mix of music. Drinks are decently priced. The staff is very serviceable and professional. Clark Vault Aura took really good care of us. I give this night club one of the best ratings, for a good night on the town of KC!

Easily KCs best nightclub. Bottle service is a bright spot in an already great environment for night time fun. The bartenders are super friendly and makes it fun to hang out and have some drinks with friends. They always have a good time when going out with me.
