A long history to this place. Site of old county hospital, Moore Haven home for retarded, Dade County youth School, Kendall Childrens Home, Old County Paupers Cemetery. Supposedly haunted. Youth School still in use, Haven school (Just to the west) is no more but building foundation slabs are still there. Old hospital and childrens home on the East side. Old farm was where the Baseball diamonds are today. This was really out in the sticks back then, history dates to the early 30s or late 20s. Lots of old building foundations in the woods. A neat place to walk around.

The trail is bumpy and not every safe for walking nevertheless running or anything else you may want to do on it. It is however nice for a relaxed walk (so long as your not accident prone) and an outdoor party. The playgrounds are definitely old and dont seem to offer a truly toddler friendly option as some of the newer parks do. The park can use a bit of a facelift. If you live lots of trees however, then this might be the spot for you.

Great spacious park with amazing natural areas to relax and have a good time, you can either read peacefully in a tree, walk the trails that make you feel like youre inside a forest, have a picnic, play disc golf, if you have children you can take them to different areas with playgrounds although not all of them are in perfect condition theyre okay, I visit that park almost everyday, extremely recommended.

My name is Mabel Felipe, I don’t know who many program this Park has, but Miami’s Top fitness Boot Camp program is amazing. I started at the camp on 11th of September 2005 and Alain as instructor is the best he is a fitness expert, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and motivating. I have tried other boot Camp around, but this program has kept me here for 7 years, with great results. I really recommend it.

Nice park with baseball field, picnic tables, plenty of space for activities and a concrete skatepark. Skatepark has a great setup with a raised roundabout box in the center and plenty of ramps and boxes well places around the center. The park is generally small, but everything functions together so theres a lot to do with no need to wait.

BEST PLACE TO GO LARPING! Lots of Open space, join the Duchy of Shifting Tides every Sunday. 12-6pm By the Skate Park Idk why theres lower stars when they got fountains, ACTUAL bathrooms!, a vending machine, theres always a party and everyones so nice. I got free cake from a party i wasnt even invited to. Its great. Go join.

I come here a lot for many different reasons, be it to exercise, clear my head, or play football with some friends, this place has plenty of space and things for any physical activity and levels of activity. It even has bathrooms! It has Frisbee golf too! Check it out, you may even fall in love with the spider laden trails.

Versatile well kept park good for family outings, corporate gatherings, casual barbecues, sports and recreation events. Wide spaces with plenty of room available parking, as a local whose been there may time it definitely is more well kept than some of the surrounding parks in the area.

Very spacious Suburban Metro Park. Two play areas one for little children and II for older children. Lots of grounds for picnicking, some grills are available. This is right next to a pretty impressive baseball area and the new environment centered engineering high school called Terra

This park is definitely a hidden gem in Kendall, FL. There is lots of open areas and a very dense forest-like part of the park. Various activities can be performed, and there is two large playgrounds. It is always well-maintained and appears to be safe.

This is a wonderful park for holding parties or setting up soccer games with friends or playing a few holes of disc golf. Some other features of the park include a small skate park, and party shelters with grills.

A very nice park however it looks like they dont seem to care much about the skatepark they have. That whole place during the day is a heat torch. They can invest in a very large shader for the skaters.

They need to fix 2 of the three softball fields. One field has a huge patch of dirt in left center field. They do offer disc golf and the park staff is friendly.
