Bastress Mountain Winery is a beautiful mountain chalet located in rural Bastress Twp., about 15 minutes south of Williamsport, PA. The staff consists of the winemaker, Shawn Zimmerman, his family and dog Rusty. We enjoyed some samples and had a nice chat with the informed and engaging staff. A sample list of wines available: Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Mountain Blueberry, Rusty Red, Autumn Blush and Sweet Bastress White. Bottles run between 13.00 - 20.00 dollars. The winery can be rented for weddings, birthdays, parties and banquets. Hours are: Thurs-Sat 10:30a-5:30p, Sunday Noon-5p Mon-Wed by appt.

Discovered this winery several years ago and my favorite wine ever, Jackass Red. I love going there to stock up and taste the new wines. The new distillery is AWESOME ...so far Ive loved and bought everything Ive tasted. The employees are super nice and helpful. A+
