Amazing people, places and spirits! My girlfriend and I happened to be in the area for a new years get away and being avid fans of the bowman line (esp the Abraham) decided to see if by some remote chance we could get a tour of the distillery. Truman (the new Mater Distiller) responded promptly to my request and indicated he had a tour available. When we arrived we were amazed that we had a private touring with the master distiller. Truman explored the history of the venerable company, the process, people and equipment of distilling (and why you would waste money on machines which can measure parts per a million) and some interesting facets of the costs of manufacturing fine spirits. [Hint... the highest cost has nothing to do with manufacturing!] While Truman and his team are still working up the whole "tour" if you can get a tour with them by all means do so! You will be amazed with the people, products and what youll learn. Thanks A. Smith Bowman team and Truman for excellent spirits and a very informative and fun tour. Well be back with friends and colleagues!

The tour is the best way to spend an hour or two if youre in town. We had a small group, an excellent guide and the tasters were delicious. Great for a small independent distillery to offer free tours and tasters, theyre doing something right because we spent a whole lot in the gift store!

Great distillery with history. Amazing products and so lucky to live closer to it. Our tour guide Erin was amazing and so enthusiastic. Hands down one of the best tours i had. Tour is free and ends with a small taste of their products. Gift shop offers plenty of options and various gifts.

If you love bourbon and are anywhere nearby, come here. The new direction of ASB is fantastic. World class whisky is being crafyedhere. The tasting room is spacious and the staff is great. Only missing a 5th star because of the limited range. Looking foward to big things.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We wanted to take the tour but were delayed by traffic and didnt have enough time. They let us join the end of a tour and left us taste with them. Bought two bottles to take along as a reminder to go back again.
