This is basically a pretty sign outside but a Aldi inside. I hate this store. One time I didnt want to drive to another store and needed some quick meal items so I walked down the hill to here. Everything I needed was expired, badly wilted, or moldy. This store is a disgrace to the up and coming Church Hill area. I know there are many people and business trying to improve the neighborhood and this is not one of the better places to go. Boo! Id rather drive across to Carytown than go here. What is even funnier is that they sent out flyers stating the "grand re-opening" of the store. They moved some shelves around and added self-checkout lanes. This hardly changes the the fact that everything in this store still sucks. But hey--- you can get out of dodge quicker than before. Yes, like other locals, unfortunately I shop here when it is a last resort or I need items right away. So yes I have to go there at times, but this does not excuse the fact this is a terrible grocery store.

Most things made at this store are of poor quality, especially the breads, and the sushi is pretty awful for being as pricey as they are. It takes a lot of sifting through vegetables to find one that is decent (if it exists), the service is slow and everything is usually extremely overpriced..

This place has a terrible selection, especially of meat. Often times they run out or simply dont carry even very common cuts of meat. Same with cold cuts, cheese, basically anything perishable.

I got some salads to go from the salad bar for dinner. It didnt look fresh and I paid the price for making the stupid mistake. I spent most of my night in the bathroom.

I personally believe that farm fresh supermarkets are by far the best grocery stores in the business.
