The attention very characteristic of the Hard Rock Cafe, excellent. Mainly the server called Dom, very attentive and timely. Also, I was surprised how fast the food arrived. What I did not like, was that I asked the hosstes, I will sit on the outside, overlooking the river and said no. I do not know what his reasons were, he could have told me to wait, even though I told him I could.

Went to see The Sons Of Texas & Texas Hippy Coalition and they put on an awesome show! Food was good with a few small complaints for improvement. The staff was great and attentive, clean bathroom, good atmosphere! Had issues with seeing the stage. We reserved seating so we could sit and enjoy the show. There is standing area in front of the stage for those who want to stand. There was a couple in front of us at another table who insisted on standing and blocked our entire view. No one else was standing but there two inconsiderate rude ,obviously low functioning people. We had to ask them to sit down then the woman gave us attitude and at the end she stood again. I suggest management ask those people to sit down as a common rule of reserved seating. If you want to stand then go to the standing area. No one went to only see your backside wiggling to the music or thinking the band is only playing for you. Drinks are too expensive. If you lowered the price you would end up making even more money. We will go back again and eat, drink and enjoy a show! Thanks for a great night in spite of rude people!

I have severe food allergies, so I called a day in advance to book a lunch reservation and speak to the chef. I spoke with the kitchen manager and he was extremely nice, accomodating, and knowledgable. We talked at length, he answered all my questions, and stated he would be working when I came in the next day. When we got there the next day, he came over to the table and reassured me about what they could cook me, that they could cook it in a separate pan, and he actually cooked the steak himself to make sure it was not contaminated by anything I couldnt eat. My family had a great time, everyone liked the food, but more importantly my mom was so thankful that they could work with me and in such an understanding way. I never felt strange for having allergies and the staff was concerned for me (which is not the experience Ive had at other restaurants). We were all very appreciative and its now our go-to restaurant when friends and family come to visit Pittsburgh.

Food is very average there, but even worse are the bar tenders. In an attempt to refer to the bartenders by name instead of "hey you" or "thanks to you" I was advised that "we dont like to be called by name". I was taken aback and thought they were joking at first but as the night wore on, their attitude and limited customer service skills were lacking. I happened to be standing next to a local sports star when he was attempting to make eye contact so the bartender at least knew he was there and was rudely told that I will get to you. In a service industry I was pretty shocked at their attitude and even more surprised at a name like Hard Rock, looks to me like you should be blessed to be patronizing their establishment. With the entire entertainment down the street, you would think they are trying to compete for the spend, but thats not the case.

I "used" to go here about once every 6 weeks and Ill have to agree with the other reviewers the service here is pretty bad it seems. Whoever does does their hiring and managing needs to get a clue. I usually sit at the bar and a couple of the bartenders that work there should really be in another line of work. This isnt something I noticed just on one visit by the way I noticed this after repeated visits. I will go back but not for a while and hopefully they have some new bartenders. They give bad service, theyre not friendly, and Ive even heard them degrade their own customers that are sitting at the bar. For no good reason whatsoever. Like I said, wont be back for a good while.

We said we wanted to order food, knowing already what we wanted, and the bartender threw a menu at us and disappeared. We had to flag down a different bartender to take our order. A man beside me ordered take out (after his first few attempts to order at the bar were rebuffed) and his food came out after mine...which i placed my order 10 minutes after he did. Not cool. My burger (which comes with fries) came with about 5 fries. Not even fresh. Not even warm. Just 5 cold fries. Drinks are also outrageously priced. I feel bad for the employees here cause...food and drink prices (compared to what is actually received) must anger a lot of people into stiffing them on tips...

Ive enjoyed the Hard Rock Cafe when I was in Vegas, so I was having good expectations when I came to this one. Like the one in vegas, the decor and atmosphere was unique, eye catching, and entertaining. The server and hostess were friendly and ready to answer our menu questions. My friends and I got the nachos, spring rolls, and goat cheese sandwich. The nachos were cheesy and was a good proportion. The spring rolls sounded real good from my friend, and my sandwich was mm mmm tasty. I would definately come again and recommend to all.

We went for a show. We had an app, dinner, dessert, and drinks. Service was great. The food was good, not great. We ordered the BBQ trio. The chicken was over salted and over spiced. Other meats in the dish were fine. I did not complain to the restaurant as I ate all the chicken anyway. I wish I would have told them (being in the industry I like to advise the staff/management of the experience, good or bad) but with the bands playing I didnt really get the conversation with our server as we normally do. I will obviously return.

The food and drinks were ok, yet ridiculously overpriced for what you were actually getting. The service was inexcusable though. Not only was our waiter RUDE by calling somebody in our party "difficult" because she asked for a salad with only lettuce and tomato... but the bartender was disgusting. This review doesnt even allow for as many characters as the problems I had with this horrible place. I have honestly never been treated so poorly by a service staff. I will NEVER return.

It was my first time ordering a steak there so I went with a New York Strip (12 oz.) That turned out to be 12 ounces of pure regret. It was the most awful steak that wasnt even cooked all the way through. Overpriced for sure and I think the general manager was quick to read that reaction and so I didnt pay for that steak. I honestly dont know what they are known for besides loud music, cluttered walls and slow service. The only high note there was the Oreo Cheesecake for desert.
