Absolutely worst golf experience Ive ever had. Went as a twosome and by the back nine the owner pulled all the flags at 7:15 with over an hour of sunlight left because she wanted to finish her work early and leave. We couldnt even see where the greens were or where the hole was. Then at 8 she kicked us off the 18th tee and was extremely rude even though we wouldve finished in 2 minutes. Course itself was in horrible shape. Terrible layout and tee boxes were mostly sand. Cart paths were in dangerously bad shape and it was impossible to find the next tee because there are basically no signs. Miserable owner who doesnt care about her customers or the course. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I played this course for the first time on 9/28/13 and was very pleased with the course and its employees. The course is well maintained for a public course and in my eyes one of the (if not the best) Philly pub courses I have played. The par 4s & 5s have very long fairways that make you hit a great shot of the tee. The 89 yard par 3 on the back 9 is hilarious to look at but will help boost your score with its short distance and easy green. I had a great time playing this course and will return fairly soon to play it again.

Ive played this course many times due the new specials. The course is in terrible shape. People walk their dogs in the middle of the fairway. Kids are playing on the course. The worse is that the balls are flying in all fairways and dumb people pick your ball up. Leave the dam balls lay there. What is wrong with these people? UGH.

Not much left in the immediate location of phila for public ⛳. Ashburn CC was semi-private for awhile before closing several years ago. Others have followed in closing since then, including Island Green. This translates into more play at Byrnes wbich is a short and congested course most of the time.

For the price, you cant ask for much more. The course seems to be in better shape than usual. Perhaps the rainy spring has had something to do with it. People, fix your divots, read the rules, and tighten up your golf etiquette!

Really short. Less than 5,000 yards w/ no par 5s on the front and 3 back-to-back-to-back par 3s on the back. Otherwise, good pace of play, good condition and fair challenge for the $ amount. Could use a few more hazards/bunkers.

Course in good condition but cartpaths were very uncomfortable to drive. Also, very hard to navigate beteeen holes. Signs should be easy to set up.

For $27 with a cart its definitely 4 out of 5 stars. In better shape than FDR and more fun because of a load of par 3s.

The paths are rough and positioning of tee boxes could be better.but greens are good and fairways maintained well

It is a kept public course that never seems to be crowded. It is a good place to learn the game.
