Love all the comments on here about golf. Well, I dont play golf so........ As a local, just had my wifes 50th surprise birthday party here. Absolutely FANTASTIC !!!!! Jenna " sales and marketing event coordinator ", Debbie " event manager ", these 2 girls ROCK !!!! Having just about 50 people here for this event, Jenna and Debbie not only made it easy for me since the " surprise " part was hard enough for planing, but they make you feel right at home. Had folks attend this event from Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Maryland etc...... Everyone made comments not only about the service, but the food was absolutely spectacular. Room set up and arrangements, again, amazing. This would be my 2nd event at this place, 1st one was last year for a sweet 16 that a neighbor had. After this event, this is why I booked my wifes birthday. Great job Royal Manchester folks !!!!!!!

One of my favorite local courses, from the perfectly manicured greens to the pristine bunkers, and some really great risk/reward tee shots, this course offers everything you could want, a couple of short par threes and one challenging long par 3. The par 5s present a great balance of length and also reachability with two around 530 yds (whites) and two around 460. In my opinion In mid season no other greens in the area roll as true as Royal Manchesters. The three finishing holes can make or break a round with 16 offering a par 5 reachable in 2. 17 a long, uphill, mostly into the wind par 4, and 18 a strategic par 4 that will leave a challenging approach shot over water if your tee shot doesnt find the fairway. Do yourself a favor and play this gem of a golf course. Oh, and the prices are very reasonable.

I recently had my daughters bridal shower at Royal Manchester. Jenna and crew were amazing! They helped in so many ways - they helped decorate and they provided platters for the desserts we had brought. The room setup was great and we had lots privacy. All of the food was delicious and I got many compliments from our guests. During the planning process, Jenna answered my many questions and always responded to my emails quickly. All in all, everyone at Royal Manchester helped us have a successful bridal shower. Highly recommend.

This is without a doubt my favorite course in the area. Just played there a few days ago & the course was immaculate. Played earlier in the year & it was immaculate then also. Fairways are perfect, greens are fairly fast & roll beautifully. The only issue is caused by players not fixing pitch marks as is the same as most courses. For some reason, they started charging a cart fee of $8, so a weekend round will cost you $55. Considering the quality of the course, I can live with the price.

Great course, but people need to fix their pitch marks. This is a great course in great condition with fabulous greens, but to see that many unrepaired pitch marks is depressing. Played today (7-17-16) and one month ago. Previously, the greens were immaculate, so what happened in a month? They still roll great, just ball marks everywhere. All it takes is a tee. Hard to beat for the price.

Deserves a high rating because its a first class design. It has the best public practice area in the mid-state. Great greens. The course is fairly difficult, but very interesting and reasonably priced. It compares to the Links of Gettysburg; cant beat that. Anyone who rates the course itself less than a 4 probably has non golf issues or found it too difficult for their skills.

Impeccable greens and fairways. Tough but fair rough and fescue. Challenging holes, of which no two are alike. Best public course in the mid-state area and Ive played everything from Iron Valley, Foxchase and Bulle Rock to Lancaster Country Club and Pine Valley. Seriously worth the money. Will be playing many more times this season and tomorrow is October 1st !

Ive gone 4 times, and every time I have visited, its been a most enjoyable experience. The greens are immaculate, the fairways were lush, and the food is great. You cannot beat the price, a course this nice is usually double the greens fees. BEWARE, its not easy .

A phoenix rising from the ashes! After losing their greens last year, they took advantage of the negative and replaced the greens with bent grass. Awesome putting surfaces. The course is in fantastic shape and the food/drink at the pub is top notch.

The course is pretty spectacular and right in my back yard. Its a must play course. My only complaint is that the course requires you to practise from hitting mats which are on an uneven surface at the range.

Great new links style course. Challenging and fun. My only gripe is the amount of traffic that passes by many of the holes... oh, and theres that lovely industrial smokestack that dominates the landscape.

OK, other than that smokestack, this is a great course for the money. Greens were really well kept, bunkers in nice shape, and staff were all A+. A true links design and feel, very challenging.

For the price, I dont think there are much better golf courses out there. Its fair, but hard. Greens are in perfect shape but firm/fast and the fescue is very punishing.

The course is in great shape. Greens hold and are at a proper speed for the average golfer. I like the hills cut back so we dont look for balls all the time.

Best golf course in York county. Greens are unbelievable. Practice facilities are worthy of a Country Club. Food is good, but not exceptional.
