During the month of June 2017 I attended an event that required me to stay at this resort for 3 nights. The rates in my opinion were quite high for the type of facility and level of service. I was travelling with family members who were elderly but not severely disabled. We were assigned a room on the second floor but we were not given any warning that there was no elevator in this particular building. Mind you, my complaints may appear to be minor but when experienced again and again over the course of 3 days, they add up. "At those prices" which became the running joke for that weekend, each experience was just that much more magnified. I waited over a month to write a review thinking that it might still be a little raw and here I am over a month down the road, still thinking about it. I can excuse issues with the rooms such as leaky faucets or not enough towels but bad attitude is hard to forgive. This is what I experienced during the entire weekend.. I found the staff to be very young and inexperienced. I do event planning for a major company and not only would I not hold an even there, if there were no more rooms left in the entire area, I would recommend sleeping in the car to avoid the frustration of dealing with the staff. At checkout I had this entire speech rehearsed that was not meant to insult the person at the desk but merely to show my disappointment. I was waiting for that question that you usually get upon check-out, "How Was Your Stay". After all of the paperwork was finalized and the receipt was issued, I waited around pretending to look in my bag for a lost article but I was never asked how my stay was. In disbelief I walked out and then I went back in and said, "Just in case you were wondering how my stay was, it was just OK and at these prices, thats not OK. My recommendation, send the kids to work at the motel 6 down the road and hire some older, more experienced professionals.

It is hard to believe that in 2013 professional people have not learned how to communicate effectively. In April, I played with with a group of about 30 participants in a tournament at Kiln Creek Golf Club. In the middle of the round we were rudely asked to leave by Mark Houston (the director of golf) due to another tournaments start time. This was the most unprofessional and worst golf experience I have ever had in all of my years of playing. I will not return to the course or recommend it to anyone I know. We were scheduled to play 4 more events there, which have now been moved to another course that will appreciate our business.

Under new management and staff, the golf course has been upgraded and the services offered have been improved drastically. Anyone that had a bad experience more than a year ago owes it to themselves to take a chance and come back see the new Kiln Creek. The club is now more about service and providing an experience than about profit and loss.

Came here for a golf tournament. Didnt see inside the clubhouse but the course was in great shape and extremely fun to play. Definitely plan on playing here again soon.
