A step back in time to the 1960s. Ive been visiting this place since i was 3 years old &for 31 years now its still as good as ever. The only negative is now you have to ask for a poppy seed roll and pay .35 more, but its the remembering thats the hard part. The bunny burger just doesnt taste the same on ses seed bun. The bunny fries are the best seasoned fries around sprinkled with "bunny dust", & extra dust is a must. There is just something about the fried chicken that leaves you wanting more. The crispness is a buzz to your sensations at the first bite, mixed the moistness of the chicken itself. Of course the mouth watering coleslaw completes the meal. Its a original unchanged step back in time from the time you pull in & they walk to your car to take your order, till the time they walk the tray to the car to hang the tray on your window. There are picinic tables for those who dont want to eat in their car or come on motorcycles. Since it is a step back in time its important to remember its CASH ONLY, the hours are are Friday-Sunday 12-10 and open most of the year. The months they are closed have been trimmed back to only the heart of winter so dont look to have a craving December-March.

Bunny Burger and Fries with extra Bunny Dust and a cold Birch Beer. You cant go wrong with that! This place is a wonderful nostalgic throwback to another time when drive ins with car hops were far more common. Most people will enjoy this, as is obvious from all the reviews, but there will always be picky people and nay sayers. Its not a 4 star dining establishment so dont get here and act unimpressed with a burger and fries. Sometimes it is something simple done great that deserves praise. If youre up for an experience your parents or grandparents more likely had in their teen years, and want a great burger and fries, or ice cream or shake, then get yourself to the Red Rabbit! FAR better then anything youre going to get at those "national chain" burger places. The service takes time so BE PATIENT. All of the car hops are very friendly and even the owner approached me last time to ask if I needed anything and if I enjoyed it. Seems like a very friendly man. This place is CASH ONLY with an ATM on site. Turn your hazards on for service and enjoy :-)

Been driving by this place for 25 years and decided to give it a try today. The waitress approached the car and asked if we need a menu. We told her it was our first time so we needed one. After we placed our order we waited 25 minutes and saw the car that just pulled up next to us get served in just a couple of minutes. So I got out and asked the waitress when we would be served. She asked what car I was in and brought our food immediately. She said it was just finished. But it was clearly sitting for for some time because it was cold. So now I know not to waste my time gong back there again. McDonald has much better food and service.

I went there for the first time in about 7 years the other day, its only open on weekends. A bunny burger is 4.50, and a pork BBQ sandwich is 4.00 most of the other items are in the 4 dollars and up range. Everything seemed expensive & the portions werent really that great either. It gets points for being an old fashioned drive in restaurant But to tell you the truth, I certainly wont be going back, I was pretty dissappointed. they only accept cash, and at night time you leave youre headlights on for service. I think in the Clarks Ferry area they must have confused terrific & terrible.

Food portions are small for the price. Fries are usually cold by the time you get them. Be prepared to wait at least 30-45 minutes or more to get your food after you order. Service is extremely slow here. Food is good, but be prepared to spend about $20+ for 2 small burgers, 2 fries and 2 drinks. No combo meal deals are offered. Theyre only open Friday-Sunday. Parking is hard to come by, so youre very lucky if you can find a spot your first time around the building, due to very slow service. There are no refills on drinks either, unless you pay full price for it again.

I cant speak for anything other than the Bunny Burgers and Fries (with extra bunny dust, of course) because Ive never wanted to order anything else from here! Pricey, yes, but the bunny burger is amazing! I dont mind paying a little more, for something different (and delicious!), especially because I know my money is supporting a family owned business instead of some massive burger chain. It is a great place to go if you are from out of town and looking for a cute retro place to stop or are cruising in your old hot rod and are hungry for some burgers and fries.

Great old fashion Drive-In! Just be prepared for the prices. They are high. Its a great experience. It should most definitely be tried out atleast once. They have full menu, which is delivered to your car. Trays sit on your window. Another option is a few picnic tables around the old school arcade games, pinball, and a few others. There is also a window which is made for ordering ice cream but you can order anything from the menu.

difference between any fast food place and the red rabbits burger is the bun they use. The burger tastes like a burger from the 50 s with rust sprinkled on it. The pizza is a chef boyardee kit. Small means small. Ice cream was good. I ordered four bunny burgers with fries and small drinks and one large pizza which had a grand total of $47.00! This place is too expensive for "junk food." I wouldnt go out of my way for this place.

It is a great restront, no long waits, no getting out of the car, a great place to hang. Also this food will not let you down, this great food with fill you up, best part is it even has ice cream for kids. One last thing is that people sometime sell baked fresh pastrys there its awesome. Coming from a customer you should go to this great restront to hangout or if you want a great hamburger.

This is a local treasure, There are a few reviews that speak of wait times and price. Those folks are not considering what happens when you order your food it is uncooked every burger or other hot item is made to order not before you got in the car at home. As for the price of quality its priceless, sure it cost more than Mac Ronalds but it is less than what I often pay the red bird place.

A Perry County institution, the Red Rabbit, is always jam-packed in the summer months. Its quaint, a trip down memory lane to be waited on by a "car hop". The food is very good. However, in the very busy summer months, you will wait more than half-an-hour for your order to be delivered and you will pay double what youd pay at McDonalds.

the burgers were delicious and juicy ! I thought they came on a poppy seed bun but they come on a sesame seed bun. Im have to ask for the poppy next time. Fries were good too. Were there on a busy Sunday and they said it would be a half hour for food but it was 15 minutes at most.
