Perfect little scenic road to the snowball stand, I love the drive. Its also somewhat near the Daniels area of patapsco so its the perfect cool treat after a long hike. The flavor list isnt as extensive as some other snowball stands I know of, but they do have a pretty good sized menu of flavors (some more expensive than others, like the sour flavors and chocolate), they do offer diet and sugar free options. All for good prices. A small runs about $2 with any toppings, a medium about $3 and a large for $4. They offer a loyalty point system, after X amount of punches in the card you get free treats and discounts. Theres several benches under shade for sitting as well as a shared gazebo lined with benches. Honestly one of my favorite snowball places. Open most days until 9pm, so perfect for after dinner dessert as well.

Its a nice, quaint location to get a cold treat. Would definitely recommend on a hot day, as the snowcones are really cold. They taste pretty great, and you get a lot for a low price. They have a ton of flavors, and you can even get ice cream at the bottom of your cup! The location is a bit out of the way, and while theres a little gazebo and some benches to sit at, theres little more than a scenic, empty field to entertain you while you eat your food and try to avoid brain freeze.

I was so excited to visit The Snowball Stand tonight for the first time this season. And I was just as disappointed to learn that they have new marshmallow because our favorite one is no longer making it. The new one has good flavor but the texture is not so fun. It turns hard and chewy. Missing the fluffy one - it really made the perfect snowball. It was just as much the texture as the flavor for me. Still love the banana flavor though :o) Really happy youre open again!

Best snowball stand in Maryland, from a long time (50+ years) snowball consumer :) I *love* the sugar free egg custard, and you can even get extra syrup for free, although theyre very generous with that, unlike other stands Ive had the displeasure of visiting. Also, its tucked in a lovely shaded corner of Woodstock, very near Ellicott City, with ample parking and picnic seating, even a lovely gazebo. Ive been bringing my kids here since my 24yo was an infant!

I will drive miles from home to visit this stand. Have gone there for years and they are as good as ever. Selection cannot be beat. Flavor choices, toppings, and preparation variations are unmatched. I can get marshmallow on bottom, in middle, or on top. Wow. Service is very good, but it takes a little time for special orders. Cost is worth it. Higher than other stands, but so much better.

When we moved here 2 years ago everyone talked about The Snowball stand. When we finally tried i,t we were talking about it too. Snowballs in so many flavors you stop counting. Soft ice, floats and so much more. The staff is fast and friendly. This place is so popular there is always a line and wait can exceed 5 minutes. Everyone who lives around here loves this place and so do we!

The snowball stand may be good, but the prices are terrible. The old owners 5+ years ago were much better. The new owners have rationalized the syrup flavor amount and increased prices. If prices were dropped and flavor amount increased, this could easily be a 5/5 Stars like it once used to be.

Starting coming here 15 yrs ago when i would come over to the western shore to visit my grandma and aunt/uncle. They had me at first snickers snowball! I will come back soon and hope to find little changes as this place was as awesome as could be!

the snowballs are good, its hard to mess up a snowball. But, I guess its tradition to hire the least friendly, uninterested lax help you can find. Since year in and year out, the service is just stand off ish at best

Always a long wait to get your snowball but its worth the wait. Huge selection off flavors and you can get ice cream in your snowball. Their special offerings can sometimes sound really strange but the kids love it
