If youre visiting the area for an extended stay or just stopping by for the night, then Fern Hall Inn is a wonderful place to visit for several reasons. The rooms are large and accommodating, the rich history of the grounds feels like you went back in time and you will not leave hungry because of the phenomenal food. The rooms are a perfect place for couples to stay over night. There are large beds and ample space to plop down luggage and hang up clothes. During the winter the bedrooms are nice and toasty. If you really like it hot, you can use a personal space heater to make the room extra comfortable. This destination is seeped in history. Every turn you take, in the inn or on the property, you will find the stamp of the Johnson and Johnson family as well as the second Treasurer of the United States. With sweeping views and well manicured grounds, its an opportunity to enjoy the location. Every morning guests can choose from a variety of different breakfast options. You can have a slice of home made banana bread, or snack on fresh fruit, or feast on a large omelet, or eat as many blueberry pancakes. All and all, the made to order breakfasts are a good reason to wake up in the morning. Fern Hall Inn made my vacation. It is a wonderful place and offers plenty of options to guests. Our family had a wonderful weekend at Fern Hall for our Dads 80th Birthday celebration. It was amazing. The Inn is beautiful and exudes a cozy, warm feeling throughout. That is only matched by the entire staff and their willingness to extend themselves for your comfort. What a great combination. October is definitely the time to go with the scenery of the trees, lake, and golf course. We enjoyed many fine meals and plan a return trip hopefully sometime in the summer to take advantage of the Lake and boat house in the warm weather. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have stayed here twice. Once by ourselves and once with family. We love the place and hope to come back again this year with more family. We are avid golfers. We like the course and play, play and then play again. Dinner is always good, and the Sunday Brunch a wonderful treat.

Amazing dining experience right from when you walk through the doors. Staff made you feel welcome. The food was the best Ive ever eaten. The atmosphere made you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend. Beat dinning experience.

We went there to see the live music on a Sunday, which was great! The $20 buffet on the other hand was not so great. "Mac and cheese" was so greasy that it ended up being buttered noodles.

I only played golf and did not enter the dining room. The course is an enjoyable layout of 9 holes. Green fee with cart was only $20, so affordable and money well spent.
