Wonderful, well-maintained Delaware park. Perfect for recreation, particularly walking, hiking, bike riding, and horseback riding. Also a large tennis courts complex where lessons are given by tennis pros. Great for family outings and picnics. If you or your children enjoy bicycling together as a family, youll love this place. Nice bandstand for open-air concerts. Outdoor ice skating in the winter. 1-1/8 mile oval fitness track with a surface that is more forgiving than pavement and great for jogging or speed walking. Some great little out-of-the-way corners to discover, too. You can actually walk from here all the way into the City of Wilmington on the excellent Delaware Greenway Trail, which connects Bellevue to footpaths through other parks and woodlands. Bellevue State Park also contains what is undoubtedly the best disc golf course in Delaware. If youre into disc golf, you *must* visit this park— you wont be disappointed.

Bellevue State Park is a former estate of Mr. William du Pont, Jr.Given to the state in 1976 It contains lovely horse-stables, a covered figure eight horse racing track (that will hold about 3000 guests), a Mansion, numerous houses, and a church many of which can be rented for special occasions such as Weddings and corporate events. Also contained on the grounds are footpaths, a community garden, tennis courts and a stocked fishing pond, along with nearly constant community programming like summer concerts, and movie nights. All available for a reasonable parking fee (4 dollars in state vehicles, 8 out of state) and accessible via public transportation along Philadelphia pike. now occasionally hosts large events like the Dogfishhead Analog-a-go-go.

Este es un excelente parque para ir con la familia y pasar una tarde entretenida. También se pueden hacer grandes eventos. Por ejemplo cada septiembre se celebran las fiestas patrias de Chile en este parque ya que cuenta con todas las comodidades para recibir a mucha gente. Me gusta mucho este lugar y lo recomiendo para todas las edades

Gorgeous park - my favorite in Delaware, maybe only behind Cape Henlopen. There are numerous walking trails, both sunny and shady. I have yet to see a single piece of litter, despite their carry-in, carry-out policy, which can lead to mess in other parks (Im looking at you, Battery). I havent experienced the fall foliage yet, but I have no doubt it will be stunning.

Very lively park scene with many things to do. Trails around the park are pretty flat and easy hikes, there was dressage going on at the horse training grounds, many fisherman trying to catch largemouth bass (never did see anyone catch anything), volleyball courts, tennis courts, personal gardens to rent, some small wildlife (I saw a rabbit), and a concert stage.

Plenty of hiking, histoic buildings and the stables offer things to do while spending time among the greenery. Beautiful gardens, an amphitheatre thats host to public summertime concerts, and multiple tennis courts. Theres also a public garden in which one can lease space and grow their own fruit and vegetables.

Great place for families. Theres a a few playground areas, a pond for fishing, hayrides and a track to run on. There are pavilions that can be rented out for parties. And a amphitheater that in the summer provides a free concerts. Its $4 for in state residents and $8 for out of state visitors.

Fantastic place to relax, read, take in the nature trails, or walk through the open paths with the family. Ideal place for weddings, concerts, and photo shoots as well. Entrance fee is very minimal and helps contribute towards the maintenance of this great location.

Great place for a walk around the extensive track, even better place for a family picnic. The Pavilions (which require advance registrations & a rental fee) feature volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, playgrounds, and fishing areas. What more could you ask for?

Beautiful setting. Friendly staff. Tons of parking space. Offers a variety of free activities and concerts. Horse farm. Picnic areas, Fishing, Hiking , Biking and Walking trails as well as a Frisbee game ...which youre sure to have hours of fun

Been going here since I was a kid. Always been a favorite park of mine. Good for walking, running, watching the birds and turtles around the pond, and lots of summer concerts. When I was a kid, I did some horseback riding there, too.

Kind of underwhelming when you factor in that you pay a fee to visit this place. Its popular with runners and has a nice frisbee golf course. If you do play frisbee golf, mind the thorns and the deer ticks. Both are in abundance here.

Really nice park there are lots of different play areas there is also a fishing pond, horse barn and walking trails. I havent even explored every part of it. There are some nice buildings to take pictures too.

One of my absolute favorite parks in Delaware. Family friendly. Clean. Nice for picnics including grilling in the park. Always has tons of events especially in the summer. Even has a disc golf course to enjoy!

What?! $4 for Delaware resident and $8 for out of state?!!!! Who would want to pay this much to go to the park where it has barely nothing there. You can picnic anywhere and not have to pay to get in!

This park is beautiful. You can fish, hike, bike, ride horses, picinic, play tennis. It is a great place with outdoor conerts too. I live it here. Clean pkace, friendly staff.

Awesome park with great views and safe for kids. There are multiple playgrounds and a volleyball net. Many people visit but it doesnt feel crowded.

This place has a small entrance fee. It has great scenary. You can have a small wedding or party here. As well as take great pictures.
