I recently went to watch a movie here because its one of the better prices in the area and Ive had good experienes. However, this evening was very disappointing on a few accounts. First, upon entering the theatre, I noticed that the sound quality was much poorer sounding than usual. Apparently, the surround sound was failing and only the speakers at the front of the theatre were functioning. I noticed another guest bring this issue to the attention of one of the employees and he began to address the issue before the movie started. About 30 minutes in, the issue was unresolved so this same customer again brought it to the attention of this employee, who continued to attempt and resolve the issue. This time, the sound turned off completely, and the same man who had been complaining stood up and began angrily telling the employee we all needed to be refunded and the issue needed to be fixed for real, and now. My family and myself stood up and left the theatre at this time intending to leave and try a different theatre, however, despite the other man losing his temper, I felt sympathy as he had taken his son to this movie, and maybe this was one of the only nights he was able to do so. Very unfortunate for both him and the employee (who appeared to be a high school-aged kid) unable to resolve the issue. Upon exiting and returning to the box office to get my refund, I noticed the theatre manager, Justin, sitting down playing on his phone. When another employee, Stewart, kindly offered me a refund, the manager scolded him for offering to apply my refund to my credit card as had been my preference and told him next time to just give cash as it was faster. I curtly commented that I wanted it applied to my card, and that I did not want cash. I noticed this manager again express visible irritation at the next customer who was given a refund to their credit card as to their preference. After this, I approached the manager and expressed my disappointment in his customer service and professional conduct, in addition to his total inaction in addressing the failures of this theater to fix their sound issues. At this point, he commented that this was an ongoing technical issue they had been dealing with all day. I asked him why then he had continued to sell tickets at full price or not properly alert people of the inability to meet normal standards and he simply said "Im sorry, were working to fix this issue." My speculation is that they felt they could get away with lower-quality sound if they said nothing and continued to sell tickets, however, that is indeed just speculation. I do not blame the staff, but I do blame this manager for his failure in leadership skills and horrible customer service. He not only griped about giving refunds, but was completely disrespectful and dishonest about the technical difficulties the theatre was experiencing.

Went to see Civil War on 6/5 -- theater 11. Sound quality was garbage. It was like all surround sound was disconnected. There was a very quiet sound coming from the screen; I have, no exaggeration, had much better sound in random peoples living rooms. Basically I dropped $10 (plus $6.50 on 65c worth of popcorn) on something I could have streamed for a couple of dollars a few weeks from now on my PC, and enjoyed better sound quality on my headphones, to boot. I dont know if its the property in general, or just theater 11 in Carmike camp hill, but for sure do not waste your money if your movie is in theater 11 and probably reconsider going here all together. This happened to me once before, I forget which theater, and I assumed it was a fluke. But based on my experience last night and the other reviews on here, I see that it is not. Best bet is to go somewhere else.

This is literally the most disgusting theater Ive ever been to, and Ive been to theaters in remote locations. There was urine all over the walls and floor in one of the staple in the mens room. None of the paper towel dispensers worked. There was popcorn, leaves, and trash all over the theater hallway. I get that its an Friday but there were plenty of employees to help with upkeep. The carpet and seats are clearly very worn/outdated and not very comfortable. The only semi-redeeming quality was that the theater sound was decent. We wont be going here again unless there are some serious changes made. We hope this review helps you to consider those changes.

Went here to see Beauty and the Beast last night. Id had a problem with my ticket (which was entirely my fault) and they were able to fix it quickly. I was really impressed, their staff are not just friendly but empowered to make real decisions which is always encouraging to see. On top of that the cinema itself is clean, the seats comfy and the screen high quality. $5 movie nights on Tuesday means you get a premium movie going experience for a discount theater price. Id definitely recommend this place.

The Cinema Center of Camp Hill offers the finest theater going experience in the entire central Pennsylvania area. This establishment consistently and relentlessly serves only the finest popcorn and fizzy drinks and features the friendliest and most helpful staff in the history of nickleodeons. Orson Welles himself would be honored and humbled had he the opportunity to patron this movie theater! 5 out of 5 The Cinema Center is the final solution to your all of your movie going problems.

Cinema Centers matinee price was 6.50 per ticket for the latest showing of the Coen Brothers 2010s film True Grit. Versus a standard rate of 9.25 for an evening film. The theatre is pretty large, and there are reclining chairs, which is cool. A big negative is no student discount and insanely expensive prices in their food court, or "robbery court" as I like to call it. Decent size video game room for the kids.

Pros: +No lines at 1 in the afternoon on a Tuesday. +Plenty of seats and they recline somewhat. +sound system was alright Cons: -I should not be the have to pay so much for concessions for something that costs them a tenth of the price or less. -The seats are not big or cushy like in other AMC theaters. -The arm rests dont move so I couldnt cuddle up to my husband. -The screen was kinda darker than usual

What used to be a great attraction to the mall area has slowly slipped over a number of years. The bathrooms are freezing to the point that I might need a parka, and there is always something broken in one. Could use a face lift and the parking lot could use a repaving. Just put some time and effort and show that you want to make an enjoyable experience for your customers.

As a regular movie goer, I am confident in saying, compared to Cinema center, the AMC workers and overall expierience is far inferior. They do not pick up the phone for customers wondering how to make them money, the website is far harder to use, and their popcorn is stale. Period. Very disappointed in Cinema Center for selling out to this garbage. Pitiful.

I have been here many times since they opened in mid-2005. This theater has an unusual layout, and decent prices overall. I really like the arcade and the retro game machine-full of video games from the old school 1980s era. While I do not live closeby (I used to!) I still like to stop here for a movie occasionally, when I am in the neighborhood.
