This park has a little bit of everything. Beautiful roses of course, quaint little gazebo, big grassy lawns to just lay down in, two different play structures for kids (catering to different ages) that are under ample shade from the tall trees, such a fun splash pad, picnic table shelter- you name it! We loved it. Theres plenty of street parking all around the park. The only issue was the smell of smoke from a bunch of smokers that congregate on one end of the park. That really took away from the whole experience.

Really nice public park. Ive driven by for years but never stopped until recently. Lots of room and play structures for the kids, and what I understand to be one of the oldest rose gardens in Portland. The pool is clean, and life guards attentive (there were a ton of people there for an event, and they kept it orderly and safe). The random piano for the public to play with was a nice touch. Well go back for sure.

Recently went to a free swim here this summer with the children I babysit. The pool is big and looked clean. There is also a large bottle of sunscreen at the reception desk which was nice because I had forgotten mine that day. My kids had a lot of fun and made friends with the other kids. Go early if you want a lounging chair, as it can get pretty busy/crowded.

Contrary to what the "tree hugger smelly children" comment said- this is an amazing community park and pool and I would go back 100 times over. The staff in the community center are great and the pool is always clean with many lifeguard on duty. The park is well kept and its a nice environment. I would suggest going there on a rare hot Portland day! ☀️

This is such a beautiful park- they have a rose garden (currently the roses are gone as they are replacing them), they have a gazebo where you can often find dancers, and then theres the Community Center and Pool. I like that its a big enough park so you can feel like youre not around a bunch of people, but its still populated and safe.

Surprisingly beautiful park. When the gardens are in bloom, they are more beautiful than the Portlands Rose Test Gardens in my opinion. Also a nice pool and a great park sandwiched in between.

If youre into breast feeding tree hugger women with smelly homeschooled offspring, then this park is for you. The pool is very ghetto. Rose garden is nice.
