You must be interested in the inner workings of a lighthouse. One lane paved road with areas of gravel. Share the road with idiot bicyclists who ride 2mph in the exact center of the road making it impossible to go around them. There is a $2.00 tour charge and they take groups of five up at a time so they can bore you to death with how to keep the lenses clean without touching them etc.

This is a beautiful place to photograph! The staff is also quite helpful and friendly. The thing I didnt like is that they close very early (3:15pm, as I recall), and they shut the gate so no one can even get to the lighthouse by car. We had to go back on a subsequent day because we arrived too late. It was worth the return trip though.

Wasnt well run, disorganized tours, not good for kids, oldest, but not most interesting. Nice views, in good condition. No rv parking close, one lane inbound road can be congested. Bring lots of patience for a bottle rocket experience. Good that it was cheap.

Enjoyed our stay. The campground has long sites for big rigs that are easy access. The park is just beautiful and the hosts friendly. Loved the lighthouse. The beach was too cool and windy, but beautiful also. Would definately recommend it!

I had some great memories living on the Coast Guard base there at Cape Blanco from 1969 thru 1972. Our mother took all 4 of us kids down to the beach often there. It looks like the duplex we lived in is gone now...

A beautiful location, warm and informative guides plus a 360 degree breathtaking view made the visit unforgettable. The close by secluded campground and pristine beaches complete a perfect Oregon experience.

This is one of the most amazing places on the coast, and probably one of the windiest! Spectacular views, and an opportunity to get up really close to the lens.

Neat lighthouse with a free tour. Very windy. There are also a few trails to get down to the beach. They are steeper than they look.

Great view, tour guides are very friendly. Its free to tour it and see the fresnel lens but they do take donations.
