I cant believe these stupid bad reviews. Yeah, its nothing amazing as far as "amusement parks" go because its not an amusement park. The arcade is special because it has some seriously classic games you cant easily find anywhere else. Original pacman, asteroids, centipede, etc. How can you not love the retro? And then theres some very old shooting galleries, coin-operated automatons, a fortune teller machine, etc. But they have new games too, typical DDR and such things. I dont care about that... But the real reason to go to Salem Willows is its simply an absolutely beautiful park. The entire park is surrounded by the ocean, a bay on one side and the open ocean on the other. The willow trees are an especially nice touch, of course. Plus theres the long pier you can walk out on an people are regularly crab fishing off of it. And finally, the one thing you absolutely must do there is to go to Hobbs ice cream at the end of the boardwalk. The ice cream is decent, the taffy is very good, but the popcorn is really unique. Id highly recommend the popcorn bars.

I grew up in salem. My dad would take me as a kid.this summer I took my one and a half year old little girl. True it was not what it once was. There were more rides like tea cups and stuff when I was little. But it still had the merry go round, boat ride and arcade. It was just the right speed for my little girl every one was friendly and polite. People were having cook outs and there was a band playing boys were diving off the peer. It was nice. Most people seamed to be having fun relaxing. It was a great day. It took me back to my child hood and let me pass down a tradition to my child just as my father had done with me. I would have been if it was all up dated and new aged. It a cheep fun day to spend with ur family and I hope my little girl take her daughter to the willows some day to.

One of my favorite childhood places. If you go to Salem Willows Park you have to try the popcorn at Hobbs. It is gas popped and perfectly seasoned. You can buy it by the box or the batch. While you are there dont overlook the popcorn bars. They are flavored popcorn shaped into bars with a variety of flavors. I particularly like the unique taste of the wintergreen bars. They also have fresh made ice cream from a local dairy. Also you can also get fresh salt water taffy in the summer next to Hobbs made on a machine dated for the 1800s. Also you can get a unique Chinese Food menu at Salem Lowe. I highly recommend the pepper steak tip sandwich and the chop suey sandwiches.

Always a fun place to hang with friends, go on a date, or bring your family. Live band plays music at the waterside bandshell some nights, and theres a pretty park with water views, grass and trees with plenty of seating. Not the largest arcade in the area, but a few hours can easily be spent here. Pinball, DDR, batting cage, and air hockey are among some of the things you can play here! Theres also a small pizzaria, but it isnt very good and is the reason for 4 stars.

Its not like the boardwalks to the north... This is small, mostly arcades for amusement... Mini-golf and a view of the water... But it has some favorites... Excellent Popcorn from the oldest popcorn machine in the country (down the end)... Cappys offers some seriously good onion rings... But the reason I return every trip home is the Onion Steak sandwiches at Salem Lowe... Gotta eat em with a fork... But they package them that way for a reason.

This place sounds great on paper - a playland from yesteryear. You show up and realize the name should be Adults-Who-Want-to-be-Kiddy Land. The average member of the general populace will feel like Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie walking around this place. Why are weekend retreats these days either yuppy playgrounds for the rich or trashy dives for the downtrodden? Where are the places for the middle-class?

Salem Willows is an ocean front area with arcades, snacks, hot food options, kiddie rides, water view walking paths, picnic pavillions, fishing pier, small water cruises, shady areas. Great for families, older folks, couples, dog walking, etc. Free parking goes quick; so get there early. Nice spot. A little hidden - but just follow Derby St. to the end. Worth the ride every time.

Its a beautiful park along the water. A very diverse group of people make use of this park. From regular locals to families with infants to older people...etc. Its also nice that there is a pier to overlook the water and small beach fronts that are not private. It doesnt hurt that there are food and entertainment options for those who may be bored with just the view.

It is a Fun place to go. It right on the water, it has arcades, fun beach type foods, an Awesome Chop Suey Sandwich for like $2.00, a few little coin operated rides for toddlers and a Merry Go Round. Awesome Toffee Popped Corn, bathroom access, picnic areas, some with shelters over them, pretty cheap meter parking, so bring Quarters.

Partner and I love going to the arcade here in the summer. We play Raptor Captor and skee-ball until we have enough tickets to purchase a sufficiently nifty trinket, then we take a stroll down the boardwalk. Probably dont want to eat anything down here though (expect for an ice cream cone) - go back to town for that.

Ci sono stato a febbraio non c era nessuno un vento della Madonna e tanta neve. Però forse proprio per questo si stava benissimo soli con se stessi

My grandmother used to take me here when I was a little boy and I still go back now in the summer time to enjoy the awesome atmosphere of a 50s style boardwalk and amusement park. This place means a lot to me and honestly my parents were brought here as kids too. Enjoy it during the day but steer clear at night.

Love going to play games with the kids at the Casino. Really are in love with the tender steaks at Salem Lowe. They are know all over for their chicken chop suey sandwiches. The view of all of the boats is a great place to eat our favorite foods. Its a nice family place to go and cook out and hang all day.

A nice local park with picnic tables, gazebos etc and beaches good for a kids summer birthday party. The arcade is a bit of fun (skeeball, retro arcade videogames and pinball.) the merry go round is a delightful paint chipped relic. Would t know about the food here doesnt look that appetizing.

Parque muy bueno para pasear en familia , incluyendo variedad de restaurantes de comida rápida y juegos arcade para los niños e adultos.

It wouldnt be summer without visiting the Willows. Staff is always attentive if you need help and the games are fun but the pricing can be a little steep on the newer games. Park events are fun and the beach is always nice to visit food pricing is high but nothing outrageous for the season.

Willows is a family experience that takes us back to the days of good popcorn, family arcades, and picnic tables aplenty. While the beaches are small and the arcade area can be a little loud at times, Salem Willows has a diverse number of activities for all ages. Fish, canoe, sunbathe, etc.
