It has been quite the experience going to this said establishment, but I cannot say this with the highest remarks. The staff, ever helpful, note the sarcasm, has been one of the most horrendous things I have witnessed. While going to see a film with my sisters and young nephew, one of the employees refused, and I mean quite literally, to stop talking with another employee while were were ordering. It got so distracting the employee being talked at had to apologize twice for the disturbance. I do not find it acceptable, nor do I find it professional to talk behind your customers so loud it is hard to get a word in edge wise. In that case, the tick marks against said Theater were gathering over years of neglect. It was just recently that my sisters were denied entrance to a movie when the rules state if a person over the age of twenty one attends with them, they may enter. My eldest sister is 24 years of age, but did the employee ask for ID? No, I think not. She simply stated that if they were not brought in by a Legal Guardian they would not be permitted. This is the same woman who talked over us repeatedly while visiting the last time. I am very sure that I will not be sending people good reviews, no one should be treated like this, and no proper business should be run as so.

I think google has done a disservice by forcing people to use their names in reviews now! No one has reviewed this theater in over a year! We have been a few times and every time is has been FREEZING in the theater!! The last time it was about 30 degrees outside, no heat inside, means it felt like 20. We were in full snow gear and still felt cold! They have no apologies for this. The first time I complained they told me the heater was broken (2 years ago), but now they just shrug and say sorry. The prices are outrageous! No child prices, so I paid full price for a 3 year old who sat in my lap the whole time. Popcorn costs more than what I have seen in theaters in the valley. Staff could care less if you are there. You buy tickets and concessions at the same counter which is annoying if you arent buying the outrageously priced popcorn and soda. They are trying to cut costs wherever they can (no heat, no ticket counter) and charge more than they should for other thing (child tickets, concessions), for those reasons I will not be visiting this theater again. Too bad since it is only a couple miles from my house.

Forced to wait 10-20 min. in concession line -- to buy ticket, from one employee for entire theater. They are required to repeatedly ask, "what snacks and drinks do you want", before even acknowledging your repeated requests for just a movie ticket, even when you have placed exact payment on the counter. Nobody available to fix any technical projection problem; and if you wait too long for fix, you waive right to refund. You can easily hear loud sounds from adjacent theater. Lights and exit signs reflect from inside your 3-D glasses. Depending on where you sit, you can see the movie illuminate silver parts of the speakers and amplifiers behind the screen. Poor HVAC temperature regulation and dehumidification. Theater smells musty, moldy, and mildewy. Coming Attractions theater chain could not do more to tell customers -- "DON"T COME BACK"

We saw "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Logan" here since moving to Newport. Very good experiences. Friendly staff, clean floors, and decent restrooms. Everyone is always taken aback by the prices...your best choice is to buy the large drink and the large popcorn because youll get one free refill each. Pepsi products! If you plan to come here more than once, get yourself a rewards card so you can earn treats.

Complacent zombie staff, sky-high concessions and extremely dated technology in both audio and visual components of film projection. The seats are clean, comfortable and, unfortunately, plentiful. For the ratio of viewers to seating, budget would have been better spent on smaller seat capacity in exchange for high-def sound and projection system. Its a shame that the only cinema in Newport is substandard.

I bought the kid box, drink, candy and popcorn. Unfortunately the box has holes in, where it is folded. The butter leaked all over my clothes. This ruined a new shirt and a new pair of Levis. When I told the person working he said "awe, that sucks." Smilingand half laughing. Ive tried everything to get it out. Very, very upset about this. Might want to re-think the box design.

This is the new theater in North Newport, way out of the heart of the city as the previous review states. It has been 15+ years since they moved to north of town. The google photo and map clearly shows the new building and location which I would not consider a "historical relic", however the old location is a historical building.

The prices are very resonable, no different than any other. The staff is very pleasant and the Theatre is clean. I would recommend this movie expierence. And the popcorn prices are no different than any other theatre. Come enjoy a movie and quit complaining.

It is the third time we have attended in cold weather and the theatres are freezing, the people that have been hired to run these theatres are lacking in skills and management, it is a shames as it it is the only theatre we have. rayw

Clean theaters and friendly staff. Prices are high like any other movie theater. Small lobby space for the amount of customers they can get sometimes for big movies but things still flow through. Just plan ahead and get there early.

Very small theatre with limiting viewings. It is staffed by only a few and that can cause some congestion in lines, if there are many movie goers. Overall a good experience but dont expect a state of the art movie experience.

Great 6 plex for a small town! Clean facilities and comfy hi-back seats and good sound! Spendy concessions, but arent they all? Just eat before you go at two options within half a mile...problem solved!

Very High-priced! $5 for a soda that costs them .35 worth of syrup and water. Same for popcorn. The tea was terrible and very watery. We no longer purchase anything from the snack bar. Ridiculous.

I love coming here for the movies but the theaters are always cold and twice Ive been there where they forgot to start the movie. Other than these few mishaps, Ive always had a positive experience!

Great local theater. Could definitely use some renovations or better care in the lobby but the sound and visual quality are still great. Seats are comfortable and the theaters are a descent size.

Too many movies for little and big boys and none for a sophisticated audience. The cooler weather this year might have brought in some visiting from out of town.

clean, comfortable movie theatre where my wife and I can enjoy a movie, drink and popcorn for less than 20 bucks--the people have always been friendly to us

Run of the mill movie theater, price premiums included. Will show most of the bigger movies although movie times are geared towards the end of the day.

There are not many choices for theaters in Lincoln county. The seats are not very comfortable and the sound is poor. The focus is off many times.
