The venue is ran by conservative Nazis! I have never been to a outdoor concert where the security actually goes out of their way to bust people! This venue sucks! No cannabis use. Even though the event is on PRIVATE PROPERTY it is not technically IN public, because of this point. This makes the owner of the Cuthbert a flat out discriminating scum bigot! People with medical issues, and state licensed should have their rights respected for once! People need their medicines. All the cotton wood trees cause sever allergies and some people even have a hard time breathing. Not to mention the cloud of TOXIC tobacco smoke! You can have a better time outside without being harassed, bullied, and without even paying to get in! The best outdoor concerts are held at the Rose Garden outdoor theater. At the rose garden, the security go back stage when the concert starts, and you can relax and have an enjoyable time! I would never play at the Cuthbert! In fact I wouldnt do a show in Oregon! What a bigot state!

This was the worst place ever to go to a concert for ADA. They treat them horrible and wrong. If I could add the video I would. They put people who can not stand behind sections that can stand up. When you ask for help they tell you its not there problem. We paid for ZZ Top and My brother was so excited to see them and he could not see anything. And then when we took him around the side to at least get a picture they yelled at him and told him to get out of there. I know several of the people in the section left after paying their money and could not see anything. Its a shame that people are treat that way. They paid for the experience just like everyone else. I bet if the bands knew how you treat the handicap they would not come back. By the way I am posting this as we sitting here and look at people butts not the band!! We will never come back here and we will spread the world to all the ADA people.

I went to see Tony Bennett on June 12, 2013. The line was short, and the lawn area was easy to get to. There were plenty of food options. The bathrooms were also close by. The one downside was that there were security everywhere, but not guarding the singer. They were annoying everyone in the audience about not taking pictures with their camera. This really put a dampening on the show. The ticket said no audio or video, but pictures were also prohibited. Other patrons were getting upset, and the staff seemed to really enjoy getting in everyones face. If they would walk around selling hot dogs and beer, rather than harass people, the Cuthbert would profit far more, and upset less people that keep it in business. I will go back, since it is close by.

An amazing venue! Beautiful and tranquil surroundings! The perfect blend of seating, pit, and lawn space! Located in a big park with a river, trails, bike paths galore and plenty of wild flora and fauna. The locally run concession stands were great not only to purchase libations from but also had very cool staff running them. Security made me feel safe during the show and the complimentary (accepts donations) bike parking was refreshing to see. Bathrooms were clean... and what a wonderful idea to offer water taps to refill my bottled water (so I dont spend too much staying hydrated... BRAVO). I hope my favorite band 311 plays here again next year so I have even more reason to come back to Eugene. Thank you for the wonderful memories at this unique venue!

a total Nazi environment! They actually go out of their way to bust people for cannabis! They claim it is a private venue so they can say no! But they allow alcohol! So it is all about bigotry! Oregon is NOT liberal state but ran By KKK scum bags! Do your research on the history of Oregon and you will fin out I am telling the truth! These people are rotten dirt bags! YES its true, for a good concert go to the Rose Garden in Portland! security has to go back stage after the concert starts! Land the free? I dont buy that BS lie anymore! And even Eugene was named after a Klansman! u people are really ignorant and arrogant in your bigotry!

Not a bad seat in the house! Small amphitheatre (compared to larger cities), but still appropriately sized for a small town like Eugene. We recently saw Deftones perform on August 27, 2016. Sound quality was good, even when we played back some of the footage we took on our cellphones at home! Food concession choices are decent. We got bbq pulled pork + tri tip sandwiches, smoked mac n cheese, wood-fired pizza, gourmet icecream and yummy strawberry lemonade. There was also plenty of beer, cider and liquor options to choose from. Definitely looking forward to the next show we end up seeing here.

Its rare to have an outdoor theater that brings in the talent this place draws. Its a great open spaced amphitheatre that isnt too big to where you get drowned out by the crowds. Sure, it can get cramped, but not nearly as much as youd see in a lot of outdoor venues. The acoustics could use a bit of fine tuning, but I think that has most to do with the layout rather than the equipment, but Im no expert. Summer concerts are a must here if youre close to Eugene. They are a good time. Next time an artist interests you that is playing here, go for it.

Nice large concert venue. There is seating, though Ive never sat there. The lawn is nice and usually pretty clean. I wish it were sloped a little more as people tend to get excited and stand up during concerts, prompting everyone else to have to stand as well if the place is full. Theres usually a wide variety of food. A few microbrews and Coors Light and premade cocktails (never tried) Depending on the concert, it can be TSA level security or just a quick "let me make sure you dont have a handle in that purse" frisk.

This was my first visit to the Cuthbert Amphitheater and it was brilliant. Free symphony in the park. The symphony was great, the sound was great and lighting very good. The grounds were clean and well maintained. I will definitely return. Only downside tonight which the amphitheater could not help was lots of unsupervised children making a lot of noise the second half of the concert, although it didnt take much away from the event.

I had so much fun here. This venue is designed to provide incredible acoustics, and although the size is smaller, it has a big feel to it. Theres comfortable options to sit or stand, whether it be on a grassy hill, or actual seats down below. Everyone had an amazing time. The mens bathroom does only have 3 urinals, so maybe a trough would be more convenient, but they do very well with what they currently have.

Government. That explains why there were no signs or pathways, clear or otherwise, to get here. No signs!! One sign at the base of the stairs (not ramp) that was tucked under and facing inward that only Shrek himself could read. Walking over uneven, uncut, high shrubbery infested with ticks to get here. Parks director needs to be beaten with a whiffle bat for his apathy.
