We visited Wake Nation for the first time with a group of young teens. They loved it! I was thoroughly impressed with the staff. The group of young men teaching were patient, encouraging and so helpful to our group of beginners. The facility is very clean and accommodating, offering a large deck and covered areas for shade. They also had corn hole games, oversized Jenga, and Connect 4 for those not wanting to ride. We really enjoyed watching the talented boarders too. A special thank you to Joseph! He was so helpful and personable as he led our group throughout the afternoon and then took the time to show us his incredible talent as he made a few loops around the lake. Thank you Wake Nation...we will be back!

CALL CALL CALL!!!! They DO force you to take AND PAY for a lesson if its your first time. After reading reviews on here, I decided to call about pricing. For a 2 hour beginner wakeboard session, its $100 even. For a 4 hour session its $105 (according to the $70 price I was told plus the $30-$35 ticket). As Snowboarders in Ohio, myself and my fiance are used to paying a fair amount for a ticket or pass. But we couldnt cope with $210 for 4 hours our first time there. Thats a bit much. Oh also, the beginner Cables are only open for beginners who pay for one of their lessons (according to their staff).

Very awesome time. I was out at the beginning of the season and had never wakeboarded before. Staff was great about getting me started - encouraging, and being positive through my first couple of wipeouts. They were really keen on understaning my goal (to get up and riding on a kiteboard which I brought) and helping me get there by the end of the day. Well maintained facility, good quality gear, reasonable prices, and steller staff. Totally worth the 2 hrs drive.

This place has potential to be fun and exciting but management isnt the best. They all say different things and dont really know how to run a business. They tried to get as much money out of you as possible. Trying to trick you into to paying for lessons, equipment and time. You wont be able to ride without having 2 lesson, which are worth $69. If youre a girl especially, they will doubt your ability. Much rather go to jungle jims

I go like 2 times a week. Its even better than behind a boat in my opinion. And plus where else In the Midwest can you find features and rails. The staff is awesome and will give you the highest quality day.

Friendly staff with several park features to play around on. If your a beginner they are very helpful in trying you get you going which is a plus. Dont shy away! Get out and try wake-boarding!
