I was staying nearby and decided to take my daughter to this pool for her birthday. Not 5 min after we paid i sent the kids to the car because we forgot the pool toys. On the way back in they were stopped by a woman who told them they could not go in until they paid. My daughter told them we just did and the woman got smart with her about it until i walked over to see what happened and told her we already paid. Then we were eatin pb&j for lunch and did not have a knife so we asked concessions for one. The man said did u buy anything and when my daughter replied no he said then no you cant have one. We were from out of town and had simply forgotten to pack the knife. We then proceeded to buy almost $20 of what they called food. Then there was thunder so they called everyone out of the pool. I cannot physically lift myself out of the pool on the sides so i was walking toward the shallow end to get out. A lifeguard literally yelled at me to get out of the pool. I told her i was and she said...i said hurry. Excuse me but I am 47 years old and deserve respect from your lifeguards. I dont need to be treated that way by some stupid teen who walks around with her bathing suit up her butt pretending to keep people safe!!! I will NEVER be back to your facility again and will never recommend it to others. I only gave you one star because I had to to post a review! You get a big fat no stars from me!!!

Horrible experience and I will most definitely not be back. If your satisfied with your kids standing in one section of pool and not moving you will be fine. We stayed from 1 until 430 when I grabbed my things and left. During that time my children were made to sit out 4 times! Apparently their is no playing tag, no splashing, no running in the water, basically no one is to laugh and have fun. Each Sunday my family travels to different pools in the area to check them out. This is by far the worst pool Ive ever been to! Very expensive to get in. Food is expensive and the pool area is small and over crowded. Highly suggest kettering pool or Kroger Aquatics for a much better time! Oh you can play tag splash about and laugh at those pools! If you do go and have an issue with the lifeguards dont bother talking to the manager she has just as nasty of a personalty as the life guards. Upon writing my review I have seen other reviews expressing my same concern. Troy Aquatic you really need a team meeting, new staff and new rules!

One of the lifeguards had a personal issue with another guest and she took it out on me and my family for including him in a game of catch. We had been playing for a good 10 minutes while she was watching and had no issue until the guy asked if he could join and my family and I arent rude so we of course said sure then she blew her whistle at him and so he left but when me and my family started playing again she kept blowing her whistle at us now, which made no sense. I was so angry I decided against talking to her since I wasnt sure how my tone of voice would be. That was very immature and I do not like the young teenager lifeguards having authority over adults. Another story to include here is that a young boy drowned and had to be resuscitated by paramedics when they arrived.

I have had good experiences here over the years, but the last time left a sour taste in my mouth. I know if there is bad weather they close without refund, and the day we went a storm blew through, however, it it lasted 10-15 minutes or so and there was no thunder or lightning and the radar was clear with another hour and a half until close. The made up some excuse and shut it down. We only got to swim for 10 minutes. If there was legit bad weather I would understand, but I dont appreciate being lied to and closed down for convenience sake. Kind of a disappointment for a place I held in high regard.

I realize that Im giving this place two five star reviews in a row, but I just cant help it! The Troy Aquatic Park deserves ten stars! From the amazing facility itself, to the lifeguards who are working tirelessly for our childrens safety. I feel safer at the Troy Aquatic Park than I do in my own home! This place gets two thumbs up from me!

Great place for the kids. I like that you can bring in your own food and drink but that there are also food options to purchase. Lots of chairs to use and fun slides, a diving board, and play area for the kids (& adults!)

Love this pool!! I drive 45 minutes even though I live 5 minutes from my local pool because Troy is so great!! You can bring your own coolers and food but there is a concession stand if you need it!!

Has two giant slides, o e smaller slide, a diving board, and a giant waterworks playground. Pretty big and fancy as far as public pools go. As long as you dont mind crowds.
