Small theaters and sound for a high price. I saw The Hobbit in 3D and in High Frame Rate here. Thirteen dollars and fifty cents later you can imagine how surprised I was at how shockingly small the theater the movie was showing in was. Judging from the looks I saw from other movie-goers as they entered the theater, I dont think I was alone. This I could tolerate if the sound wasnt so muted. Its almost as if it wants to get loud but it just cant because the sound system is holding it back. The whole experience is just seriously lacking compared to something like Tinseltown. I was so disappointed that I left and got a refund. As for the theater itself, its clean, obviously, because its brand new, but its also small. The lobby is small, the bathrooms are small, everything is just small in scale and movies should not feel that way. If you have the choice, head to a larger theater where youll get your bang for the buck. Otherwise, if this is the closest theater to you or you dont care about how well a movie should sound and like small venues...then add another two stars to my score.

I used to enjoy going to this theater right after it was built. Unfortunately, recently they have implemented a new rule where people have to choose a sit prior entering a room. The idea seems to be right, but it turned the entire experience going to a movie into a hassle. Before even the movie began, the lights turned off to show the previews while people entering and trying to locate their assigned sits in the dark. This kind of set up works in the REAL theater where people are seated PRIOR the show starts, but in the movie theater people NEVER sit themselves before the lights are off. Plus, the half of the room is still empty. On a siting screen it showed that all these sits are reserved, but they are not. As the result, people are hassling themselves to squeeze into their sits without taking available sits all over the place. Please, cancel this ridiculous idea. Anyways, because of this I have no desire to go back into this movie theater.

One of the best movie houses around. Theres room , rooooom enough were I can sit back, recline a little , yes the chairs recline, and enjoy the movie .Theres drink holders on the side of your armrests . That must be why my sneakers didnt stick to the floor. The screens are large and the sound is thunderous enough when the movie calls for it. I love the Tuesday $5.00 deal CineMark has on its tickets. Afterwards I head over to Pizza Fire and get their 2 for $12 pizza special they have on Tuesday . That way, depending on if I get an Ice Cream at CineMark, I spend under $20.00 on going out. I most certainly will revisit CineMark and Pizza Fire multiple times.

Theater is new so it was very clean. We didn’t use the restroom so I can’t comment on them. The prices at the concession stand are standard for a movie theater and the same as what you would pay at any other theater. I was a bit annoyed that the kid working the concession stand didn’t know how to apply a coupon that came from Cinemark. He was taking so long that i just said don’t worry about it. If they are going to have rewards/ coupon offers they defiantly need to know how to apply them. The chairs are awesome! My biggest complaint is that the theater was cold, so cold i actually felt my legs where going numb. I never took my coat off and I had my hood up.

2 things for previous patrons. 1, dont bring a 2 year old to a theater, youre ruining the experience for everyone else. Use the eight bucks to get a sitter next time. 2, sir, every movie theater Ive ever been to in my life has been cold. there is a lot of heat sensitive equipment and it has to stay cool. other than people who have bad theater manners, i love this theater. $5 days and the best seating around! Also, the floor to ceiling screen. mucho si. si all day.

I am disappointed Cinemark is displaying political propaganda in the previews. The placement of the propaganda is disgusting - racist comments about the democratic party right before a movie about the African American population fighting for their rights. It is demeaning, and it is this type of propaganda that is tearing our country apart and separating us within our communities. I refuse to go back to Cinemark. Im saddened at this juvenile act of regression.

Sorry, peeps! I happen to like the reserve seating. If I buy my ticket online and I reserve my seat, there is no threat of me not having a seat should the showing sell out. Ditto for everything Alex: great service great seating but… The prices are ridiculously high for the small amount you get. Almost 5 dollars for two scoops of ice cream and they are small scoops that fit into a "like it" sized cup. I could buy a half gallon for less.

I wont go to a movie theater that requires me to pick seats before going into the room. I pick my seats based on what I see upon entering the room, eg I avoid seats near people who are talking, and choose those that are not directly behind others. I also sometimes change seats late, based on where those who arrive after me sit. I wont be back to this theater unless this reserved seat policy changes.

This is my favorite theater in the Akron area! I have a theater right down the street from my house, however I drive a little further to go to this theater as it is much nicer and has the XD theater option. The theaters are always clean and the staff is always friendly. They also have a good deal on an annual popcorn bucket and drink, which I have taken advantage of the last two years.

Clean theatre, friendly staff. Discount Tuesdays can get pretty busy but they also offer cheap matinee prices. Concessions are a bit pricey but I guess thats pretty much all theatres or entertainment venues. I signed up for weekly coupons, theyre great value. I like the reserved seating during busy times but literally have had someone in our seats everytime so its hardly enforced.

I am in league with the other reviewers who dislike reserve seating. It makes very little sense, especially when there are hardly any viewers competing for seats. Even on a packed night though...just let the first come first serve policy apply. Other than that and the ridiculously high food/drink prices, this theater is decent. I would pick it over other ones in the area anyway.

The reserved seating is a really terrible idea. It slows the checkout process down. In the XD theatre the row letters are in the carpet and are barely visible, which makes the seating take longer, particularly for people arriving late. The volume in the XD theatre is absurdly loud. I enjoy loud movies, but its really just uncomfortably, excessively loud for no reason.

I used to love this theatre. But the reserved seating is so insanely stupid. I cant tell on the screen how close or far Im making my seat. It makes it hard to pick the right seat. And how stupid is it that theres five people in the theatre and I still have to pick my seat ahead of time!! Do you guys not even read your reviews? No one likes this reserved seating!!
